[Ubuntu-x-swat] [Bug 1365336] Re: Lightdm update=No desktop
@robert-ancell I believe not, but I'm not sure. This udev rule I propose is a derivative of other ideas proposed by Ubuntu Multiseat team members. When that master-of-seat concept was introduced in systemd, Lennart Poettering suggested that a suitable udev rule should be included in upstream NIVDIA proprietary driver. Right now we could include it in downstream nvidia-graphics-drivers Ubuntu packages (and even requesting its inclusion in Debian packages). [Ubuntu-x-swat] [Bug 1365362] Re: 10de:1080 [Intel DP67DE] Xorg Backtracing
Vaclav Cermak, could you please be more specific when you state, Live uses Nouveau, which is useless in current state (surely for Blender).? One should be able to install the nvidia drivers in the live environment, log out, and log back in and it would begin to use it. One may verify it's being used via: lspci -vvnn and look for nvidia for the VGA entry. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu-X, which is subscribed to xorg in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1365362 Title: 10de:1080 [Intel DP67DE] Xorg Backtracing To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/xorg/+bug/1365362/+subscriptions ___ Mailing list: https://launchpad.net/~ubuntu-x-swat Post to : ubuntu-x-swat@lists.launchpad.net Unsubscribe : https://launchpad.net/~ubuntu-x-swat More help : https://help.launchpad.net/ListHelp
[Ubuntu-x-swat] [Bug 1324361] Re: Screen blank after resuming from suspend
Try changing the resolution to 1034 by 768 at 60 Hz in Nvidia Xserver settings. Apply the settings and save to Xorg.cong and you must restart. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu-X, which is subscribed to xorg in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1324361 Title: Screen blank after resuming from suspend To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/xorg/+bug/1324361/+subscriptions ___ Mailing list: https://launchpad.net/~ubuntu-x-swat Post to : ubuntu-x-swat@lists.launchpad.net Unsubscribe : https://launchpad.net/~ubuntu-x-swat More help : https://help.launchpad.net/ListHelp
