[Ubuntu-x-swat] [Bug 1368158] Re: [MIR] xserver-xorg-video-geode, recommended by xorg 1.16
AFAIK the package used to be a part of Main. However, its usefulness since Precise is doubtful, considering how Ubuntu optimizes the i386 archive for i686-PAE. Basically, unless Ubuntu miraculously decides to support non-PAE x86 hosts again, building the Geode module for Ubuntu is pointless. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu-X, which is subscribed to xserver-xorg-video-geode in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1368158 Title: [MIR] xserver-xorg-video-geode, recommended by xorg 1.16 To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/xserver-xorg-video-geode/+bug/1368158/+subscriptions ___ Mailing list: https://launchpad.net/~ubuntu-x-swat Post to : ubuntu-x-swat@lists.launchpad.net Unsubscribe : https://launchpad.net/~ubuntu-x-swat More help : https://help.launchpad.net/ListHelp

[Ubuntu-x-swat] [Bug 1298578] Re: Brightness is low after resume from suspend, can't be increased
I have the same problem. One thing I've noticed is that opening the GUI in Settings Brightness and setting Brightness to 100% changes the files /sys/class/backlight/acpi_video0/brightness and /sys/class/backlight/acpi_video0/actual_brightness, adding the value 15 (in my system). This does nothing with brigthness. But in my directory /sys/class/backlight/ there is another directory, called intell_backlight, with the same files. I've changed the brightness file inside this directory and it changes the brightness of the screen. My Solution is: cat /sys/class/backlight/intel_backlight/max_brightness /sys/class/backlight/intel_backlight/brightness This restores the brightness to 100%. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu-X, which is subscribed to xserver-xorg-video-intel in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1298578 Title: Brightness is low after resume from suspend, can't be increased To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/xserver-xorg-video-intel/+bug/1298578/+subscriptions ___ Mailing list: https://launchpad.net/~ubuntu-x-swat Post to : ubuntu-x-swat@lists.launchpad.net Unsubscribe : https://launchpad.net/~ubuntu-x-swat More help : https://help.launchpad.net/ListHelp

[Ubuntu-x-swat] [Bug 1368392] [NEW] NV10, NV20 Bad / Missing Graphics and Icons
Public bug reported: I recently installed Lubuntu 14.04 LTS. I noticed that on some screens and in some applications, there were missing graphics and icons. For example in the Files application, some of the folder icons would be visible and others were not. I did a search for a related bug/issue and come across a bug filed here (https://bugs.freedesktop.org/show_bug.cgi?id=51477). Turning off anti- aliasing under Customize Look and FeelFont resolves the issue of the missing icons, but makes the text harder to read. For reference, I have an nVidia GeForce3 Ti 200 (NV20) graphics card. The bug was filed two years ago, but was just recently resolved. The change was incorporated into Nouveau 1.0.11 that was recently released. Is it possible to incorporate this patch/fix into the 1:1.0.10-1ubuntu2 that is installed in 14.04 LTS Thanks in advance for any help or guidance you can provide. ** Affects: xserver-xorg-video-nouveau (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu-X, which is subscribed to xserver-xorg-video-nouveau in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1368392 Title: NV10, NV20 Bad / Missing Graphics and Icons To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/xserver-xorg-video-nouveau/+bug/1368392/+subscriptions ___ Mailing list: https://launchpad.net/~ubuntu-x-swat Post to : ubuntu-x-swat@lists.launchpad.net Unsubscribe : https://launchpad.net/~ubuntu-x-swat More help : https://help.launchpad.net/ListHelp

[Ubuntu-x-swat] [Bug 1261916] Re: Missing letters in spice client session with KVM guest
This issue exists in 0.1.1-0ubuntu4 also. Detail that is missing throughout redhat-bugs #974198 (and the possible explanation why some experience this issue and some might not) is that bug is somewhat guest resolution sensitive. For me 640x480 and 800x600 works fine. However, 1024x768 and above will trigger the bug regardless of compositing (having it turned on will trigger the bug sooner). -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu-X, which is subscribed to xserver-xorg-video-qxl in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1261916 Title: Missing letters in spice client session with KVM guest To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/xserver-xorg-video-qxl/+bug/1261916/+subscriptions ___ Mailing list: https://launchpad.net/~ubuntu-x-swat Post to : ubuntu-x-swat@lists.launchpad.net Unsubscribe : https://launchpad.net/~ubuntu-x-swat More help : https://help.launchpad.net/ListHelp
