[Ubuntu-x-swat] [Bug 1278223] Re: Mouse Flickering after adding 3rd Monitor
Same problem. Ubuntu 14.04 LTS Notebook Dell Precision M4800 Intel graphics card only 3 monitors: built in(1920x1080), HannsG HZ281(VGA, 1920x1200), Dell Inc. 24"(Display port, 1920x1080) After I connected Dell monitor to display port cursor started to flicker on first two screens. It stops when I turn the third monitor off. When I run something with high refresh rate flickering goes crazy, sometimes I can't even see the cursor -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu-X, which is subscribed to xorg in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1278223 Title: Mouse Flickering after adding 3rd Monitor To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/xorg/+bug/1278223/+subscriptions ___ Mailing list: https://launchpad.net/~ubuntu-x-swat Post to : ubuntu-x-swat@lists.launchpad.net Unsubscribe : https://launchpad.net/~ubuntu-x-swat More help : https://help.launchpad.net/ListHelp
[Ubuntu-x-swat] [Bug 1394869] [NEW] Trackpad click does not work for HP Stream 11
Public bug reported: I have installed ubuntu 14.10 onto a new HP Stream 11 laptop. The trackpad is a clickpad where the entire trackpad is pushed down to simulate a click, there are no other buttons. It seems that the trackpad works fine with the exception that no clicks are registered. 'ubuntu-bug xserver-xorg-input-synaptics' could not be ran as it doesn't seem to have an option to hit "send" from the keyboard and the mentioned mouse button is not working. I followed the information collection from https://wiki.ubuntu.com/DebuggingTouchpadDetection and the files will be attached to this bug ** Affects: xserver-xorg-input-synaptics (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New ** Attachment added: "HPStrem11_TouchpadFiles.tar.gz" https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1394869/+attachment/4264918/+files/HPStrem11_TouchpadFiles.tar.gz -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu-X, which is subscribed to xserver-xorg-input-synaptics in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1394869 Title: Trackpad click does not work for HP Stream 11 To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/xserver-xorg-input-synaptics/+bug/1394869/+subscriptions ___ Mailing list: https://launchpad.net/~ubuntu-x-swat Post to : ubuntu-x-swat@lists.launchpad.net Unsubscribe : https://launchpad.net/~ubuntu-x-swat More help : https://help.launchpad.net/ListHelp

[Ubuntu-x-swat] [Bug 1132736] Re: Xorg fails to start after installing the hardware enablement stack on precise due to missing symlink after purging old xserver-xorg
This bug affected me too (on Precise LTS) after purging xserver-xorg residual config once I installed xserver-xorg-lts-trusty. I can confirm that reinstalling/reconfiguring xserver-xorg-lts-trusty fixed the problem (I used apt-get --reinstall install xserver-xorg-lts- trusty). [Ubuntu-x-swat] [Bug 1388887] Re: two cursors instead of one
Thanks! I do use external screen rotation when I'm docked. I hadn't noticed a simple association, but that might be at least one trigger for the problem.
