[Ubuntu-x-swat] [Bug 1465706] Re: SRU: New upstream releases of nvidia for 14.04.3
Installed version 346 on my machine (Ubuntu 14.04.2 LTS, linux 3.13.0-58-generic x86_64). There was a minor problem with nvidia-opencl- icd-346-updates not removing nvidia-opencl-icd-331 and having a conflicting file. Solved this problem by removing the conflicting package. [Ubuntu-x-swat] [Bug 1272338] Re: Xorg memory leak on trusty
Not all memory leaks are the same. The original bug here was a definite bug in one particular driver. Since then this has been falsely duplicated to a bug in the binary fglrx and also for the pixmap leaks in plasma. Please always open a bug for yourself, and for memory leak queries in addition to the usual logs (like Xorg.0.log) include /proc/`pidof Xorg`/status and the output of xresetop. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu-X, which is subscribed to xserver-xorg-video-intel in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1272338 Title: Xorg memory leak on trusty To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/fglrx-driver/+bug/1272338/+subscriptions ___ Mailing list: https://launchpad.net/~ubuntu-x-swat Post to : ubuntu-x-swat@lists.launchpad.net Unsubscribe : https://launchpad.net/~ubuntu-x-swat More help : https://help.launchpad.net/ListHelp
[Ubuntu-x-swat] [Bug 1467595] Re: cursor sometimes disappears on XPS 13 9343 and external monitor
I've also seen on my Fujitsu U904 (3200x1800) connected over DP to the external 4k screen. I've worked around it by using Ctrl to highlight the cursor position until the cursor returns (sometimes it takes more than a couple of hours, and the only sure way to get it back is to log out and log back in — switching to terminal console or suspending and resuming does not help).
