[Ubuntu-x-swat] [Bug 1677050] Re: Youtube video will not run

2017-03-28 Thread Timo Aaltonen
15.04 is long obsolete (support ended over a year ago), so there's
probably no flash player updates to it anymore. Upgrade or reinstall.

not an X bug anyway

[Ubuntu-x-swat] [Bug 1677066] Re: Missing dependency on libertine-xmir-tools

2017-03-28 Thread Daniel van Vugt
Invalid for Xmir. Libertine depends on Xmir and not vice-versa.

I've done all my Xmir development without a 'pasted' so that can't be a
problem. And not should it be.

If it's a requirement for U8 desktop then some part of the U8 desktop
should depend on pasted/libertine.

Public bug reported:

XMir applications fail to launch from the unity8 application drawer if
pasted (provided by libertine-xmir-tools) isn't installed, so this needs
to be added as a dependency (either to the xmir package itself or to
unity8).

[Ubuntu-x-swat] [Bug 1556459] Re: [Lenovo ThinkPad W530] Regression: cannot set up 3 display configuration any more (Optimus)

2017-03-28 Thread Paul Ortyl
It looks like with 17.04 it should be better. At least all three
screens (Optimus in BIOS is on) are working again (as of 2017.03.28).

xrandr | grep " connec"
LVDS-1 connected primary 1920x1080+0+0 (normal left inverted right x axis y
axis) 344mm x 193mm
DP-1-2 connected 2560x1440+1920+0 597mm x 336mm
DP-1-3 connected 2560x1440+4480+0 597mm x 336mm

The only problem I could see within a few minutes of testing, is that on
the primary screen the mouse cursor flickers. Fortunately in this setup
it is not an issue for me.

Can please everybody test if this issue is really "fixed" for all of us ("This
bug affects you and 5 other people")?
Should we close this issue then?
What actions are still required (incl. crossreporting to other/upstream
bugzillas)?
Is this flickering on primary screen worth its own bugzilla entry?
