[Ubuntu-x-swat] [Bug 522820] Re: On boot up, I get a message that it has to use low-res and I can't change a thing on the display settings (I'm on an HP touchsmart).

2010-03-12 Thread Draycen DeCator
Sorry for not responding in so long. The issue that you reported is one
that should be reproducible with the live environment of the Desktop CD
of the development release - Lucid Lynx. It would help us greatly if you
could test with it so we can work on getting it fixed in the next
release of Ubuntu. You can find out more about the development release
at http://www.ubuntu.com/testing/ .

If you need any help with creating a Live CD of Ubuntu 10.04, please do
not hesitate to ask!

Thanks again and we appreciate your help.

[Ubuntu-x-swat] [Bug 532047] Re: Plymouth text-mode splash causes X to crash on first run due to shared tty7

2010-03-11 Thread Draycen DeCator
This bug seems to be inconsistent. I will go for several days without
having any issues, but then I'll have it again for a few reboots. I have
not been able to correlate the behavior with any updates, but I'm not
convinced that the behavior disappearing for several reboots necessarily
means that the problem has been resolved.

2010-02-24 Thread Draycen DeCator
Thank you for providing that information. It seems that Ubuntu is
definitely detecting your graphics card, there is just something
preventing it from working properly. I have marked this as a bug
affecting 'xserver-xorg-video-intel'. If you could please run 'apport-
collect 522820', information regarding your xorg setup will be
automatically added to this report so we can possibly see where the
problem is coming from. Thanks in advance!

Thank you for taking the time to report this bug and helping to make
Ubuntu better. I noticed that some of the sentences in this bug report
are not in English. If they were translated to English they would be
accessible to more triagers. Could you please translate them?
