[Ubuntu-x-swat] [Bug 747717] Re: 11.04 - opening too many windows causes new windows to render blank white
This bug stopped happening for me as well in 12.04 since actually. I think I installed nvidia-304 from the nvidia website instead of through apt in order to get RandR and at the same time fixed the problem. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu-X, which is subscribed to nvidia-graphics-drivers in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/747717 Title: 11.04 - opening too many windows causes new windows to render blank white To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/nvidia-drivers-ubuntu/+bug/747717/+subscriptions ___ Mailing list: https://launchpad.net/~ubuntu-x-swat Post to : ubuntu-x-swat@lists.launchpad.net Unsubscribe : https://launchpad.net/~ubuntu-x-swat More help : https://help.launchpad.net/ListHelp
[Ubuntu-x-swat] [Bug 968845] Re: bcm5974 touchpad doesn't work after S3 on MacBookAir

[Ubuntu-x-swat] [Bug 968845] Re: bcm5974 touchpad doesn't work after S3 on MacBookAir
Chase, I did both to confirm. The test I use is the network manager's connect to hidden network and then the dropdown to select previously connected to hidden networks. First boot it works just fine with clicking the trackpad as well as tapping. After suspend, clicking always acts as a double click (effectively opening and closing the dropdown very quickly) and tapping works just fine. So at least for me, the problem seems to be isolated to clicking on the trackpad. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu-X, which is subscribed to xorg-server in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/968845 Title: bcm5974 touchpad doesn't work after S3 on MacBookAir To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/xserver-xorg-input-synaptics/+bug/968845/+subscriptions ___ Mailing list: https://launchpad.net/~ubuntu-x-swat Post to : ubuntu-x-swat@lists.launchpad.net Unsubscribe : https://launchpad.net/~ubuntu-x-swat More help : https://help.launchpad.net/ListHelp

I can reproduce the problem definitively by running Pandora for about 20 min on latest proposed repos etc. I captured this info from the freeze: dmesg [ 7320.656032] INFO: task i915/0:272 blocked for more than 120 seconds. [ 7320.656038] echo 0 /proc/sys/kernel/hung_task_timeout_secs disables this message.
