My laptop has dual ati 5650 and intel. In bios I swith into discrete graphic (5650). It successfuly installed with fglrx-updates but not with fglrx. But it seems has many problems, my desktop sometimes appear glitches like projected bars. I'm Using ubuntu precise and have that problem, fortunately I have solved that issue! [Ubuntu-x-swat] [Bug 1081636] Re: External mouse freezes when using the keyboard
Not only in the game (I'm playing Team Fortress 2), in the desktop also very very laggy moving cursor when pressing keyboard. I don't know exactly when this issue was appeared, but this happen after I'm changing and updating my kernel, but when updating kernel also install other update about X11. I'm using Ubuntu 12.04.2 LTS with current kernel 3.2.0-48.
