[Ubuntu-x-swat] [Bug 572957] Re: screen resolution changes when log out or change user
Victor Jimenez, this bug was reported a while ago and there hasn't been any activity in it recently. We were wondering if this is still an issue? If so, could you please test for this with the latest development release of Ubuntu? ISO images are available from http://cdimage.ubuntu.com/daily-live/current/ . If it remains an issue, could you please run the following command in the development release from a Terminal (Applications-Accessories-Terminal), as it will automatically gather and attach updated debug information to this report: apport-collect -p xorg-server REPLACE-WITH-BUG-NUMBER Thank you for your understanding. [Ubuntu-x-swat] [Bug 572957] Re: screen resolution changes when log out or change user
After upgrading to Ubuntu 10.10, I still have this problem. Are there any news related to it? I was also wondering why this bug has low priority. I understand it's not a kernel panic, but if Ubuntu wants to be an easy-accessible OS, bugs like this one should not happen. They make Ubuntu look very amateur. If there is any way I can obtain more information (through logs, debugging, etc.), please let me know and I will try to submit as much information as necessary in order to fix this problem.
