Apparently the ODF addon we install for Office 2010 only works with .NET 3.5 (or .NET 2), and there are no updates available for that addon. http://sourceforge.net/projects/odf-converter/ But that is the only program we have in our unattended installation that seems to have an issue with installing only .NET 4.5.
