We' visited FIT and did the tour the 2nd week they were open. We want to join, but we've been very lazy. We met 2 trainers on the tour, and I got an impression that I wouldn't like them, because they wouldn't let me be lazy. Our neighbor and her daughter have been members for 2 months now and have nothing but praise for FIT and have encouraged us to join. Neither of them uses a personal trainer. Anthony and Nick

Actually, I am quickly using up my insured time for physical therapy for a broken back and herniated disk and was looking for a qualified trainer to work with that was close to home so I can get back to 100%. Here's what I found out about Fit (which I couldn't find in the phone listings): Fit 4415 Chestnut St, Suite 201, Phila, PA (215) 386- Hours: 6am - 9pm Mon - Fri 9am - 5pm Sat Sun (They said these hours will be expanding in September.) Prices: $349/year $200/6 months $89/3 months $49/1 month They have Personal Trainers. $30/hour $20/ 1/2 hour They couldn't say if any of their trainers had a medical background but they did say that they have you fill out a medical questionnaire and they research the latest physical therapies for medical conditions. You can talk to a trainer before you hire them. And they said that they are a no pressure gym - opposite of Bally's no one will harass you while you are working out to hire them as a trainer. Sounds like it's worth popping in for a visit. Hope this helps anyone else trying to get up the motivation to go.
