Those messages were private -- offlist -- notes to Melani. She chose and  
chooses to make them public, for reasons known only to her (trying to punish  
me?)
 
In private, Liz and I have on more than one occasion discussed her  admirable 
Rubenesque qualities. She can confirm or repudiate this if she  wishes (or 
keep silent on the topic), but she knows what I'm doing and why, in  these 
situations. And the reciprocal is also true.
 
But, then, nobody who knows either of us would use the word "insecure" as a  
descriptor.

PS: As old as Ben Franklin? Why, Ben and I played stickball together on  
Charles Street in Boston before he came to Philadelphia and hired me to  join 
him 
because he was having an infestation of type lice in his print shop and  knew 
I was the man to save the day.

I am the one who would agree.

Off-list posts were sent publicly by Melani (who mistakenly received them),
between Al Krigman and I in order to ³Expose me ³ to the masses and to show
she was innocently attacked.

When Melani asked me offline what she had ever done to me with regard to
neighborhood politics, and I TOLD her, with names, dates, minutes, etc.!

I did NOT post publicly anything which would belie her public stance which
goes against my view of her Œparticipation¹ in community development.  We
just discussed it off-line and I let it be.

However, if pushed, I can.

As far as I know about the UC Listserv, people respect that which is posted
publicly in comparison to what is written privately.

Those who post publicly that which has been written privately in an effort
to defame and discredit any posters on this UC Listserv and/or justify the
forming of any other UC Listserv, negate the original premise of forming the
other Listserv, i.e. Civil Discourse.

This is a "push."   Please do post publicly "what [I] ever did to you."   A 
public posting of the facts (which, I feel, are rather scant) would be much 
more fair to the accused - me - than innuendo.
