When you restart piCorePlayer now it should automatically load with the saved setting. #2 I am not sure of the answer, but I think the down sampling could be done on LMS or on the piCorePlayer. regards Greg Erskine's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=7403 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=97803 ___ unix mailing list unix@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/unix

I did do a backup in the CLI menu but it seems that either I made a mistaik (:) very likely) or, the config backup was not done. Either way it now works so thanks again. rederikus's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=63042 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=97803 ___ unix mailing list unix@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/unix

That's good news rederikus, Although you can do everything manually from the CLI, the web interface maintains your config.cfg file and does a tinycore backup of data. This ensures the settings are maintained after a restart. regards Greg Erskine's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=7403 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=97803 ___ unix mailing list unix@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/unix
Re: [SlimDevices: Unix] Announce: Squeeze on Arch - developer version
i have been running Arch on wand board for a few months now . super fast super quick i compiled lms myself and everything is stable i am using a coax converter http://www.msqueeze.co.nf/donwload/MSQUEEZE_schematics.pdf (copied from Pascal) the problem i had was that the kernel on wandboard is limited to 48khz so all my 96khz files i was unable to play so i had to recompile the kernel adding csos0001-as-patch1-sgtl5000.patch csos0004-rssi.patch csos0005_1-spdif-IEC958-AES-status.patch csos0005_2-as-patch4-spdif-pll4.patch csos0005_3-mxc_spdif-validity-flag.patch csos0005_4-mxc_spdif-debug.patch csos0007-rtc.patch taken from csos src rpm works well stable fast . scrarfussi's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=62221 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=101624 ___ unix mailing list unix@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/unix
Re: [SlimDevices: Unix] piCoPlayer = Squeezelite on Microcore linux. .An embedded OS in RAM with Squeezelite
Now with the version 1.16 i checked again my Sony Playstation Pulse Headset (Wireless Headset with USB-Dac) and now it works fine. Seems that there are new Drivers. *hrray* I have a small issue and a question. 1. i have to launch squeezelite manually in the browser after i restarted the raspberry. Is this a known bug? 2. How can i determine the max. working sample rate of my DAC? I played a 192KHz/24Bit file via squeezebox and i could not see ansy flac/sox or whatever thread. When i switch my Squeezebox Boom on, there will be threads to resample. Does this mean my headset can play 192KHz? O_O keep up that great work! :) steffen's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=27673 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=97803 ___ unix mailing list unix@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/unix

Hi Greg, Thanks for your help. That worked perfectly. I had been using PuTTY to set the MAC address and could not make it work. Once I tried using the web interface IP:8077/ I was able to cut and paste the MAC address with no problem. As you suggested, a quick reboot and it's off and running and Pandora now works fine from my Android Squeezebox app and MySqueezeBox.com. Memo to self -- must learn to love web interfaces better than the tried and trusted command line -- but I probably won't. Great stuff and thanks again for your help. rederikus's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=63042 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=97803 ___ unix mailing list unix@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/unix
