If you didnt manually change, then you are running the 32 bit kernel. The 4GB version is quite crippled under 32bit. Although not sure what changed during beta 1 and beta 4.. Having problems with Beta 6 with WiFi using a Pi 3B. I've the device connected via Ethernet, and then attempt to set WiFi via the user interface. It connects fine, until I come to reboot, when it fails to connect. Unfortunately I wasn't able to connect a screen to the HDMI port to see if there was anything pertinent on screen. I should be able to do so in a day or two, if needed. Re: [SlimDevices: Unix] BETA: piCorePlayer6.0.0 - PI4 support
Burned pCP 6.0.0-b5 to an 8GB SD card and booted my Pi4/4GB that has been running 6.0.0-b1 for the last few months without problem. Setup went without problems, however scanning my SSD HDD (NTFS) was so pitifully slow, as to be unacceptable. (Yes, I'd installed additional filesystems). Went back to 6.0.0-b1, no problems scanning. Burned a fresh 6.0.0-b5 image to a different SD card, same problem with scanning my SSD HDD. Pointed LMS at exactly the same music library on a NAS (NTFS), 6.0.0-b5 scanned this without problem. Any pointers as to what my problem could be. *Server - LMS 7.9.2 *Pi4B 4GB/pCP 6.0.0 18K library, playlists & LMS cache on SSD (ntfs) *Study -* Pi3B+/pCP 5.0.0/pi screen/HiFiBerry DAC+/jivelite, *Lounge* - Pi2/pCP 5.0.0 > HiFiBerry DIGI+ > AudioEngine DAC1 > AVI DM5 *Dining Room* - Squeezebox Boom *Garage* - Pi3B/Pi screen/HiFiBerry DAC+/pCP 5.0.0 > Edifier R980T *Spares* - 2xTouch, 1xSB3, 1xRadio, 6xRPi kidstypike's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=10436 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=110727 ___ unix mailing list unix@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/unix

If your headphones are paired, then they should show up as a player in LMS, with the name assigned in pCP. [image: http://www.cjh.me.uk/MyPhotobucket/cache/DIYHifi/Bluetooth%20setup_480.jpg] So you can turn them on and off, and direct audio to them, just like any other player. chill's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=10839 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=110727 ___ unix mailing list unix@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/unix

Re: [SlimDevices: Unix] BETA: piCorePlayer6.0.0 - PI4 support
Hello! I switched (new install) today from version 5 to version 6b5 without any problem on my 3B+! Great work! The integration of HFS+ works also via installation of util-linux.tcz without any problems. Great! Now I wanted to try the new Bluetooth feature. I switched on Bluetooth loaded the drives etc. and then I paired my headphones without any problem. Normally I am using a Hifiberry DAC+ Pro which I set as an output device in the Squeezelite settings. I am also using LMS on my Pi if that is important. How is it now possible to use the headphones as audio output? I read the thread here but I didn't found the solution or maybe I just missed the page. Can the output switched between bluetooth and Hifiberry on the touchscreen or has it to be switched by webpage? carsten_h's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=69113 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=110727 ___ unix mailing list unix@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/unix

Re: [SlimDevices: Unix] ANNOUNCE: piCorePlayer 5.0.0
Jivelite Update doesn't give you a choice! It says that it is checking pcp-jivelite.tcz and libcofi.tz with the result "Extension version Matches", greys the results out and then prompts straight away to reboot. So, I'm not quite sure what that all means. If it was the same version wouldn't it not prompt to reboot? Beforehand I did the below in case it helps, but I don't know how to check the jivelite version. $ ls -l /tmp/tcloop/pcp-jivelite/opt/jivelite/bin/jivelite -rwxr-xr-x1 root root150804 May 15 23:28 /tmp/tcloop/pcp-jivelite/opt/jivelite/bin/jivelite In any case after reboot the screen is blank. Hmm. :-( A PCP restart from the GUI and everything is back, so not sure what happened there. I checked the jivelite file again and it's the same timestamp. mr-b's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=10044 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=110642 ___ unix mailing list unix@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/unix
