Looks like we're there in principle. I won't be surprised if that sbpd script modification can be improved by someone with more scripting experience. For instance, if pigpiod never initialises for some reason, the while loop will effectively hang the script. * I also reviewed my lcd-brightness.sh script (that Ralphy provided the wget command for above), and for the life of me, I can't figure out why I've used Code: echo $(pigs GDC $g) when Code: pigs GDC $g works just as well. I think it was a remnant of my misguided attempts to get a return value into the lua applet, but the basic command does that anyway. So there are some bits that need tidying up I think. * Aargh - I've just noticed that the modified sbpd script is creating a file called '0' in the root folder - evidently something to do with that 'while ! [ $(pigs t) > '0' ] ' line, but my scripting isn't up to fixing that right now! chill's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=10839 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=111502 ___ unix mailing list unix@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/unix

Hello! Today I found an interesting case for a Pi zero W with a display and buttons included (German): https://www.berrybase.de/raspberry-pi-co/raspberry-pi-zero/gehaeuse/gpi-case-handheld-gaming-geh-228-use-f-252-r-raspberry-pi-zero Here is the link to the creators website (English): http://retroflag.com/GPi-CASE.html It only has 3.5mm Stereo connector, but the display is a little bit bigger and there are real buttons. The only thing I didn't know is the resolution of the display. carsten_h's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=69113 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=111502 ___ unix mailing list unix@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/unix

By the way, when I copied the Pirate Audio configuration into the modprobe commands, the change from speed=3200 to speed=1600 was a mistake - the menu 'slides' in Jivelite have some noticeable tearing with the slower speed. 3200 is good, and 6400 may be even better, but barely noticeable if at all. I'll revert that change in my setup steps above. chill's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=10839 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=111502 ___ unix mailing list unix@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/unix
