Re: [SlimDevices: Unix] picoreplayer 6, 0 it is not possible to set wifi
As it only takes 10 seconds to burn a new image, start with a fresh image. You are probably going round in circles. It is not normal for pCP to suddenly stop working! [SlimDevices: Unix] picoreplayer 6, 0 it is not possible to set wifi
i used picoreplayer a month on my raspberry pi4 with hifiberry digi plus pro. two days ago picore stopped working and can't be seen on my home network. it is not possible to set wifi according to the procedures. the use of the wpa_supplicant.conf file or setup via basic setup does not work. procedures do not work on either pi3 or pi4 trafo11's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=70126 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=112076 ___ unix mailing list unix@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/unix

As my USB DACs work just fine. I would run alsamixer from an ssh session to see what mixer is getting reset. piCorePlayer a small player for the Raspberry Pi in RAM. I had 'display off' rather than 'blank screen' which is what I has set for PCP5.0. I've just tried using 'blank screen' and if I set this screensaver for 'when stopped' then it works fine, but it I set it for 'When off' then it doesn't do anything (apart from the word 'Off' at the top of the screen). I don't believe I have a modified applet as I wouldn't know how to do that! As it works 'when stopped' and not 'when off' does that tell you anything? I have this problem also I meant to post last week but forgot, sorry ! I spun up a pCP with a Rpi touchscreen and all worked fine with Digital Clock (Black) Screensaver when Off I then put this into another Pi (Both Pi 2) with a HDMI output (no LCD TS) and set the screen resolution to 1920x1080 via web gui. Set the skin to HD 1920x1080 via JL on screen GUI All worked fine apart from when "Off" I checked I still had Clock screensaver set as "Off" but it never shows even though on the "Now Playing" screen it says "OFF" at the top Jeff *Players:* SliMP3,Squeezebox3 x3,Receiver,SqueezeLite-X,PiCorePlayer x3 *Server:* LMS Version: Latest Nightly on Centos 8.0 VM on ESXi 6.5.0U3 on Dell T320 *Plugins:* AutoRescan/BBCiPlayer/PowerSave/PowerSwitchIII/Squeezecloud/Spotty/Player Groups *Remotes:* iPeng9/Orangesqueeze/PC/Jivelite/SqueezeLite-X *Music:* 522GB,1.5K albums with 25K songs by 5K artists mostly FLACs *Want a webapp ?* See http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?104305-Webapp-for-LMS Jeff07971's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=49290 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=103330 ___ unix mailing list unix@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/unix

'Display off' only works for the official rpi 7" display and the pirate audio board display in 6.0. Did you perhaps have a modified Display off or Blank Screen applet installed in /home/tc/.jivelite/userpath/applets for 5.0?
