When that happens does the HDMI LED indicator turns off, or blinks?

Hi Paul

Thx

I added to config.txt

dtoverlay=vc4-kms-v3d

And also uncomment out the line that says
gpu_mem=16

But the only audio device that appear in the ALSA is the Headphones

Can you send me a copy of yours "config.txt" file

Thanks

Fernando

Ok Paul

I understand the impossibility of evaluating the level of a DSD signal
without decoding it.

Hi

When playing Dsf files, the Vumeters always goes to the top of the scale
and stay there. Without moving.

When the music stops they return to the minimum.

There is anything I could try ?

[SlimDevices: Unix] piCorePlayer 8.0.0 - Problem playing DSF files via UPnP

2021-09-27 Thread FMatos

Hi

I am using a RPI4 & piCorePlayer with a "iFI Zen Dac V2" and it play
natively DSF files up to DSD256, using the LMS web interface.

When I tried to send the same files from my JRiver 27 to the Picoplayer
I don’t get any audio, only appears the artwork.

I am using the LMS UPnP/DLNA Media Renderer plugin.

The only way to make them play is to convert the DSF files in the JRiver
to PCM16 44.1kHz.

Does you have any tip, or solution to overcome this problem.

Thanks

FMatos

Bingo SBP

I miss that. I think that if leave all fields in they default state it
worked ok.

I tried "hw:CARD=U7,DEV=0" and the error disappeared:)

In the V7 this didn't happen to me.

Thank you all.

Hi Ronnie

Its a fresh install. I tried both 32 and 64 bits.

I use first a Asus Xonar U7 USB Soundcard (power supplied by the USB
port)

I tried also a Pioneer N50A, powered on before boot.

In both the error is the same.

My raspberry Pi is a 4 with 4gB ram.

The sound in both dacs seems OK.

Thanks

Hi

After installing piCorePlayer 8.0.0 and change the "Audio output device

get a error message in the "BusyBox v1.33.0" startup.

" Failed to find ... Done (42)."

I attach a copy of pcp_boot.log

I think this is not normal and I dont know how this afect the
performance and the features of pCP.

In the 7 version I dont have this error.
