Just for grins, installed Squeezeplay on my ChromeBox. The Material Skin is excellent, can be made to "look and feel" just like a native Linux app easily enough. I use it on my ChromeBox and on my iPhone most every day to control any/all of my squeezelite endpoints. I don't really see a need for a native app, at all. LMS with the UPnP Bridge. Any Sonos device will show up as a UPnP renderer. piCorePlayer may be the simplest way to set up LMS. Soldered on a header, dropped it in place of a Zero. Immediately tripled the frames/second, and the CPU(s) are far less stressed while running Squeezelite and a FFT spectrum display. I don't remember having to set anything, but my Chromecast Audio turns off its light after about 30 seconds after stopping play. The Justboom Digi Zero does the same, shutting off both the optical and coax outputs.
