Yes it plays fine through the analogue output. The non locking onto the opticla input on the dac is now suggesting to me that it's the dac. I've removed it from the system to do some more careful tests. Hold on for the next installment In the meantime, thanks very much for all your patience. Re: [SlimDevices: Unix] 24bit files on transporter are stuttery
How is the wiring to the Transporter set up? Just a single patch cable between the switch/router and Transporter, or do you have in wall wiring and wall jacks and patch cables? If it's not a firmware or software problem, then you have to start suspecting the network. I think the first thing I'd do is reboot the router and the Transporter. If that doesn't help, start looking at your wiring. Try moving the Transporter to near the router and use a single known-good cable between them. Also try using a different port on the router. -- JJZolx JJZolx's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=10 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=82141 ___ unix mailing list unix@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/unix
