Thank you! Always a pleasure to hear that a piece of work is hitting the
spot and empowering people.

Tip: With the latest version there is a direct web-link from the Home Page
to a new page of Scripter's Scrapbook resources. If anyone would like to share
their user tips, Scrapbook API add-ons, IAC scripts, useful tutorials or any
associated articles, do let me know and I'll put them up there (or a link to
them, if you prefer). Similarly, do please post your snippets to the online
Scrapbook that Ken mentions. It is really easy using point n' click. In
short, the Scripter's Scrapbook is a personal resource but with definite
'sharing'
and 'community' overtones!

Download the starter-kit of your choice with over 200 code
snippets at

www.FlexibleLearning.com/ssbk.htm, then...

1. To pay the FULL price use the link in the software or on the
website.

2. To pay HALF price use this special link that is only being
sent to this

list...
http://www.flexiblelearning.com/ssbk/halfpriceoffer.htm

The link will disappear after this date so you have 10 days to
make the

right decision!

Why the special offer? Well, it's the author's 50th birthday on
that date

and he wants to celebrate the occasion :-))

Wonderful to have you both on board, and thank you for the sentiments.

And just in case 'newbies' feel it's only for old hands, the sooner you
begin acquiring and organizing your own library of goodies, the easier
recycling
your electons will be.

Re: [ANN] The Scripter's Scrapbook at Half Price

2006-11-03 Thread Stephen Barncard
If anyone on this list doesn't have this valuable piece of software
by this time, they should get it right now if they do any scripting
at all.

I use it every day that I read the list which is every day! Many many
times a week I'll be clipping handlers and techniques of note while
browsing the morning's posts.

Or while working on a [EMAIL PROTECTED]@[EMAIL PROTECTED] web site, I can steal and save
javascript and html snippets from my other sites! (and I buy snippets
from authors..)

Working with code of any kind is always a learning experience. I am
humbled by the great code I see in this forum, and I want to remember
this stuff. SS helps.

Get this utility. It works beautifully, is user extensible though its
included API, and is invaluable to me in my workflow. It's also a
great example of a well-built Rev application. Yeah, sure, perhaps
you could build one, but ...would you have the time to make it this
good? How many billable hours?

I use it in stand-alone mode (I like it having its own memory space
and task) but it can also be run in the Rev IDE. It imports and
exports in several formats to its own local database.

I use it so much I haven't taken the time to update to the newest
version yet. My bad.

great work, and happy birthday, Hugh.
