Greetings All I just installed OM 3.01 on Ubuntu 12.04 LTS and seems to working so far with the video and audio. I can't seem to send an invitation. Did anyone experienced this issue or know a fix/workaround? -john-

Greetings All I noticed that when you send an invite to a recipient and they join the room, there is no description to ID them. Is there a setting to enable to this populate the recipient's email address? -john-

Maxim, There are no box/field for first/last name from the invitation popup. There is only a recipient box that requires an email format. The invite is successful and they click on the link to join, the is no identifiable description under user list on the left pane. Maxim Back in 08/22/13 you gave me some instruction to change the default time in the invite for OM 2.x.x. Has this change in OM 3.x.x? I am getting the ERROR 1146 (42S02): Table 'openmeetings.om_timezone' doesn't exist message. I still cant it on the latest 2.2 build (2.2.0-SNAPSHOT 1522507) on SSL and non SSL mode and all of my build are from scratch and bare bone installation of the OS and OM2.2. Daniella I don't think WiFi or wired connection makes a difference. The same for the browser. I am WiFi most of the time. When I go from 2.2 back to 2.1.1, from the same machine and browser, it works like a champ on non SSL mode, still freeze in SSL mode. Sometime I don't see the all the participates in the same conference room. It's intermittent. Maxim - I can't get SSL to work on your build. I am trying to get this work one step at time, first getting RTMPS work and it will not start. If I install it from a SVN check out, would it be the same that you complile for 2.2 with the updated red5? I also noticed that the svn path frm openmeetings/branches/2.1/ has been change to openmeetings/branches/2.x/ would this be the svn path for 2.2? Jason - I ran into the same issue when I first set mine up. What I noticed that on the ldap_admin_dn, you have put cn=The_Actual_Display_Name followed by the rest of the format. I have dozens of other applications authing against this same AD instance, and I copy/pasted the username and password, so I know all of that is right. I thought it may have something to do with the bind user having a # in the password, but that doesn't seem to be the case, since the bind looks to be successful. I've tried setting ldap_server_type to both AD and OpenLDAP (per some old mailing list threads) but nothing seems to change with that. Does anyone else have AD auth working right? I'm attaching (slightly anonymized versions of) my om_ldap.cfg and openmeetings.log (I was unable to find instructions for how to turn on debug logging for the current version; the only document that Google turned up was http://code.google.com/p/openmeetings/wiki/Logging which points to a file that doesn't exist). I've tried my plain username with both a domain prefix (domain\username) and without. Greetings I am experiencing more disconnect in an SSL configuration than non SSL configuration where I have to restart the service more often. Is anyone experiencing the same? If so, do you have any recommendations or suggestions? -- jt

Does one know how to change or where to go to change the default timezone shown in the invitation popup. Somewhere in archive someone said moving the intended timzone to the top of the list in /usr/lib/red5/webapps/openmeetings/languages/timezones.xml worked for them. I am on GMT-8. I did move it to the top of the list and changed it to 0(zero). It did not help. Still showed Samoa as the first on the list as default. RTMPS and SSL configuration
OM Support Community - I am trying to configure for RTMPS and SSL. I just can't get it work. I did exactly what shown on the documenation for RTMPS and SSL and it just does not work. When checking the red5.log files, it said something ...denied port 443 I am running Ubuntu 12.04 LTS 64 bit with OM 2.11. The entire install was done as root.
