  Thanks so much, Kristoffer.

You are correct re: the blog URI (seems I had last posted there a year ago!).

Re: lists, I believe the announcement also goes to the dev list, but in
abbreviated form. If you could please confirm with marketing@, that would be
great.

And thank you for helping spread the word on your end as well. As I was
emailing with Madan (who also offered to help), we need to re-establish the
CloudStack dissemination team, as I technically work exclusively on the ASF
side of things (except on major announcements such as this).

I'll ping the team one we're live. Again, the timeframe is 6AM ET (UTC -5), so
I'll be back in touch in >2 hours.

 Cheers and chat soon,

   Hi Sally,

Can you confirm that the URL of the CloudStack Blog is
https://blogs.apache.org/cloudstack/?

Also confirm that the mailing lists for distribution of the announcement
would be announce@, users@ and marketing@
(http://cloudstack.apache.org/mailing-lists.html)?

So, in short I'll do these things:
Post to CloudStack Blog (pending access being provided - request sent
to marketing@ mailing list) Post to announce@ mailing list Post to
users@ mailing list Post to marketing@ mailing list
I'll also post the same on our own blog and re-tweet the official Apache

OK, so I ramped it up to tweet out on @CloudStack via the Hootsuite

I'll double-check once we're live on the newswire and will push manually if

Please see if there's a way you can obtain publishing credentials for the

You should be able to send emails to the requisite @cloudstack.apache.org

My suggestion: go in the DB and try to modify the state of your faulty

hypervisor... after that, try to re-create the VR / VPC by spinning up a
new vm on one of your network attached to this VR /VPC...

Re: Multiples Publics Networks

2015-12-01 Thread Rubens Malheiro
Thank Dag
Got it.
But if I use shared networks I will have problems since the virtual router had
been with the IP address of the firewall on the LAN that would be the gateway.
If I disable the management services of the virtual router I have to manually
manage the placement.
My idea would be that the VPC were able to allocate different public networks
for NAT statics. I see that I can do this because, not by field. Does the IPS
portables manages to come fix this?
Thank you.

2015-12-01 Thread Dag Sonstebo
Hi Rubens,

You can add multiple sets of public IP address space / VLAN combinations to the
public network, but you can not run multiple public networks as such.

What you can do is to present additional shared networks to clients - these can
be public or private IP ranges. Keep in mind however that if you present public
IP ranges as shared networks that you may encounter security issues on your VMs.

Hello everyone!

it is possible to run multiple PUBLIC networks and assign different isolated

I say this because I use privately CloudStack and own several VLANs would only
expose some addresses the VMS. To do this using the virtual router have problem
why GATEWAY IP conflicts with my physical gateway.

2015-12-01 Thread Daan Hoogland
Dustin, do the columns `cloud`.`snapshots`.`min_iops` and
`cloud`.`snapshots`.`max_iops` contain any significant data for you? If not
you can delete them and rerun the upgrade. It seems like the upgrade has
been started before this error and was aborted. Have a look at the file
.../cloudstack/setup/db/db/schema-452to460.sql and see if any of the other
changes in there are in your db. Also have a look at the version table to
see whether it is at the version you expect.

hope this helps,
