Re: Making Windows 11 Work On KVM and Cloudstack

2024-01-09 Thread Murilo Moura
Hi Brian!

Firstly, I would like to emphasize that each company deals with this issue
in a different way. What I see being used as a practice is not allowing
desktop versions of Windows, only allowing versions of Windows Server (with
ISO provided by the virtualization provider).

Hello Bryan,

I think on recent releases you need to adjust session.timeout in
/etc/cloudstack/management/server.properties and then restart the
service.

Hi Rahul,

The project has been tentatively named "OpenSDN", here's the new mailing list:
https://groups.io/g/OpenSDN. There should be a larger update there soon.

Also, here are the meeting notes for the initial discussion around the project:
https://docs.google.com/document/d/1jQ-XbMZnfZN0EjtfuSrfGu5jFBh-_HuTe5aF9L_TUp4/edit

And a recording of the first meeting:

Compatibility with the ACS plugin should remain unchanged.

Cheers,
Alex

Dear Dev Community,

Hope this email finds you well and wishing you a great and prosperous new year
ahead.

Just now noticed that the Linux foundation will archive the Tungsten project in
next few months, curious to know if the ACS upcoming version is going to offer
integration with another open source SDN for micro-segmentation?
Thank you for your interest in Tungsten Fabric. The community has decided to
shut down the project and will sunset this website on August 1, 2024.

Thanks,
Rahul

And the path that is mentioned in there is different for 4.18.1. The
path that I found for the web.xml is:

/usr/share/cloudstack-management/webapp/WEB-INF

Is this the correct place to put the timeout settings of

 60

And is this the proper method to make this change to extend the default
timer?

Thanks,
