Self Hosted Engine

Hi Everyone,

 

I am trying to deploy self-hosted engine on Ovirt-Node. It asks to create a 
Ovirtmgmt bridge  on the host but it creates vibr0 bridge but not Ovirtmgmt. 

 

I give IP for the VM, but then it gives default as of 192.168.122.0/24 network. 
All stuck hosted engine not getting deployed at all.

Open Suse or SLE not working

Dear Team,

 

We have trying to deploy OpenSuse and Suse Enterprise Linux on Cloudstack, 
although VM got deployed but we have been facing some issues like password 
management script doesn’t work as DHCP lease file is not getting generated. Due 
to this router IP is not determined by the script and we are not able to reset 
the password.

 

For this VM deployment we are using Xenserver 7.0 as a hypervisor, so my 
question arises here is this a normal behavior with Suse Linux and has anyone 
came across this issue.

 

Any replies would be highly appreciated...!!

SystemVMs in Alert State | 4.7.1 release

Dear Team,

Has anyone gone through this, i.e. system VMs agent state never come up until n 
unless you ping the management server IP from system VM. If you don’t ping the 
same and when you run the “ssvm_check.sh” script it shows not connectivity to 
port 8250.

The time you ping the management server IP and run the script, it connects to 
port 8250 and agent state comes to UP state.

Copy Template from Zone to another

Dear Team,

When I try to copy template from one zone to another, it fails to do so. On 
further logs check I figured out that the particular zone’s secondary storage 
VM stores the template .vhd file in "/var/www/html/userdata” folder which get 
copied over http.

So failed issue was that the template VHD is getting default permission of 600 
and other users can’t download it. Can anybody tell me that how we can set that 
default persmission as 644 when downloading or copying it.

Cloudstack Usage Service stucks at Activating

Dear Team,

I have configure Usage Server on 4.7.1 and enable it global settings set as 
“True” with all the required settings. After restarting the management services 
and cloudstack-usage service, usage service stucks at activating state.



Sometime it shows running and sometimes it stucks at activating, although not 
able to get the records in Database. All the tables are empty.

Any suggestion will be appreciated.

Citrix Netscalar Integration with Cloudstack

Dear Team,

I am trying to integrate Citrix Netscaler with Cloudstack 4.9, getting 
following error while adding:-

"Failed to log in to Netscaler device at 192.168.3.159 due to Received fatal 
alert: handshake_failure"


While adding Netscaler device it asks for Public interface and Private 
Interface, need to understand what’s that in Netscaler?  Is it like adding two 
more virtual interfaces to Netscalaer device? 


Right now there is only one management IP on it, do I need to add two more 
interfaces?

Cloudstack VR does not resolve to DNS queries

Dear Team,

VR been created while creating a VPC, VR is not able to resolve any DNS queries 
made directly from VR itself. While I am able to reach 8.8.8.8 and 4.2.2.2 but 
while querying DNS services it says connection timed out.

Any suggestions why?
