Installation works fine if I select AIR 28. Fails on 29. Last tried on may
11th. Please igore if already fixed.

Hi,

Are you sure that you are not using cache in installer ? You may also have
some problem with antyvirus which blocking something on your machine.

Hi,

Installer is almost released with Fix for that issue. Go to the dev mailing
list and you can download 3.3.1 version. I will push update to the website
on Sunday probably.

For me, the installer completed all tasks and reports success/takes me to the 
4.16.1 folder when I click the button.

Sorry about the failures yesterday.  We have a "chron job" that tracks the
checksums of the Adobe files and it crapped out and we didn't know it.

I have tried several times yesterday night and this morning to install Flex 
4.16.1 using the 3.3.0 installer on Mac OSX (El Capitan 10.11.6), and every 
time it has failed, and usually on the verification of playglobal.swc. The 
entry from the log is here:

http://fpdownload.macromedia.com/get/flashplayer/updaters/28//playerglobal28_0.swc

I looked at the folder c:\Users\{youruser}\AppData\Local\Temp\.  I didn't
see the "Air...tmp" folder, but there was a lot of junk in there.  So I
deleted the contents of the folder and ran the
apache-flex-sdk-installer-3.3.0-bin.exe
installer again.  I was just planning on inspecting the temp folder
afterwards.

To my surprise, this time the Apache Flex SDK installer did launch and
appears to be working.  I'll cross my fingers in hope that that the
installation is successful.

Fred,

I miss understand you - I thought you have problem with installed version
of installer. Do you have Adobe Air installed ? What version ?

I'm wondering whether package is unpack - If you go to the following
location: c:\Users\{youruser}\AppData\Local\Temp\ and run *.exe by double
click - Do you see any folder with "AIRtmp" in the name being created ?

Hi,

I recently purchased a new laptop (Windows 10 of course) and have been
having trouble getting the Flex SDK installed.  I think there were a few
attempts where the application failed part way.

Currently, when I run apache-flex-sdk-installer-3.3.0-bin.exe a progress
bar appears.  At the end of the progress bar, it says "verifying
download..." and the progress bar disappears.  At this point, I am
expecting the AIR application to launch and start downloading and
installing, but nothing happens.

I tried to look for previous releases of the installer so I could uninstall
them, but after looking in the control panel and in the program
files/program files (x86) folders, I don't see anything to uninstall.

Any ideas, I am really looking forward to using Flex on my new high power
laptop.
