Did you restart LO (and reload the ODB file) each time you made a
structural change ?

If the behaviour you describe above is reproducible, that would be a
bug. There shouldn't be AFAIK a requirement for the first field to be an
autoincrementing primary key in hsqldb.

IMHO, yes. At least someone else can then test, confirm/deny.

[libreoffice-users] Tags in addition to Table of Contents?

2012-10-24 Thread .
In a document I have most major headings marked to that they'll appear
in the Table of Contents (which is at the beginning of the document).
It looks very nice.

What I'd like to do is "tag" each of the major headings within the
document with key words that can also be used to form a topic list so a
Topic list can be created quickly from the tagged words.

For example;

Table of Contents (each document will have this regardless of any other
tags)

Cat Whiskers 1
Dog noses 3
Cat food 4

What I'd like to have created(in addition to the usual Table of
Contents)

Topic list (have a topic list which is created from tagged words)

Length of whiskers 1
Whisker cleaners 1
Dark whiskers 5
No whiskers 6

I've tried to find "Smart Tags" extension but there is none.

Any ideas or suggestions?

Re: [libreoffice-users] Writer randomly fails to print

2012-10-24 Thread Malcolm Moore
I am now convinced that this is bug 50784 If I change the client timeout
on the CUPS server the amount of time it takes before LO stops printing
exactly matches. In the end I have made my timeout 5400 which is 90
mins which since we are a school is OK. It's a bit of a nasty hack but
it seems to work.

Hi.
Are these PCs by any chance wireless or have power saving activated.
I think I saw this once on my mac when it went to sleep, powered the
wireless down and when it woke up the printers were gone in LO.
Can't be sure as it was a while ago.

[libreoffice-users] Writer: AutoCorrect language resets and sticks to English after Japanese script is inserted

2012-10-24 Thread Minix
Good evening.

I'm running LibreOffice 3.6.2.2 on Windows 7. My default language in
LibreOffice is set to Brazilian Portuguese.

When I'm typing a text in Portuguese and insert Japanese text, the
AutoCorrect changes the language to the following text to English. The text
that has already been typed as Portuguese remains unaffected. I am able to
set the text manually back to Portuguese, but as soon as Japanese text is
typed, the roman script that comes afterward is treated again as English.

Is this a known problem? Do anyone know a solution or workaround that
doesn't require manually changing the language every time?

Thank you.
