But, it has been added as an Expert Configuration stanza for master (with daily dev builds) and will be available with the 4.5 release early August. If you are interested, the UX issue in splitting the Sheet Tabs from the scroll bars can be found in issue tdf#36772 https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=36772 and the other side of the issue leading to implementation of a customization in Expert Config in issue tdf#87684 https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=87684 . Availability as an Expert Config stanza is a bit misleading as there is a substantial bit of code that can not now be back ported to 4.4 to change the UI there. Meanwhile, perhaps have a go with a daily 4.5.0 dev build -- http://dev-builds.libreoffice.org/daily/master/ Thanks for the information. Sorry I took a while to respond but, for once, I don't think it was my fault; I was unable to see the fascinating conversations on bugzilla as it hasn't been accessible until a few hours ago. Now that I can see the reason for the change, I'm less bothered by it than I was before although it's not something that has ever affected me, even though I've experimented with various different styles for the application appearance. -- Graham P Davis, Bracknell, Berks. [libreoffice-users] Calc: How to get tabs and scroll back to single bar?
One of the features of 4.4.0 version of Calc is that the tab bar and scroll bar have been split onto separate lines. Is there any way I can get them back to how they have always been, i.e. sharing tne same line at the bottom? -- Graham P Davis, Bracknell, Berks. However, I see my Chambers (1977) dictionary allows fora as well as forums. Then again, Oxford Dictionaries http://oxforddictionaries.com/ says, The plural of forum is usually spelled forums; the plural fora (as in the original Latin) is chiefly used when talking about a public square in an ancient Roman city.
