[libreoffice-users] Spreadsheet Design Services?

2011-09-05 Thread Jack Cambel
Hi,
Sorry if this not related to User. I was wondering if there are any spreadsheet
design services that uses libreoffice anyone can point me towards. I'm curious
about if such a business exists and how much such would charge.

Thanks in advance,
Jack

[libreoffice-users] Re: Linked Cell says True instead of Showing the value

2011-08-31 Thread Jack Cambel
So sorry for the late reply, it got lost in the flood of mail. I have to figure
out to better organize my mail.

I figured it out, I don't know why or how but Cell Format was set in Boolean
Value.

Do you think that this could be a cell format problem?
nvsoar Could be. Nobody can tell without any data nor formulas from
the original poster. Unlike Excel, the boolean data type is just a subtype of
the decimal type. The number format "BOOLEAN" displays any non-zero number as
TRUE and all the rest as FALSE. In Excel there is a separate boolean data type,
so TRUE and FALSE are never equal to any number.

[libreoffice-users] Linked Cell says True instead of Showing the value

2011-08-28 Thread Jack Cambel
What should I do when a linked value says True instead of the value it is
supposed to reference or compute? I have a vlookup function that works
partialy, the cell it is supposed to reference says true instead of the value
it supposed to say. The cell it is supposed to reference is linked to a number
field form.It works partially because some other values are derived from this
and they turn out fine, still I have "True" where it should have a value.

Thanks,
Jack

Hello,
I didn't notice the link to example file at first glance, but the alternative
of using the Data Validation tool is really very powerful!
I would never found it by myself without your example! It is really an nice
solution and it surely deserve a better publicity in the doc.
Thanks a lot to all of you,
Jean-Louis

mistake with the last one i did this to.  Many apols to all if that was wrong.
Good luck and regards from
Tom :)

Hello,
I want to learn how to create a button to recalculate a cell with randbetween

where
I can I find resources online and where I can have a handy reference of the
macros.

Thanks in advance,

2011-08-18 Thread Jack Cambel
Hello,
I want to make a list box (in Forms Control) affect the choices of another list
box. Is there a function that allows me change ranges in the cells referenced
in a List Box's source cell range?
