[libreoffice-users] Additional local number formats

2017-07-02 Thread NickKolok
Greetings from Russia, comrads!

Here in Russia, cutted off by roscomnadzor's iron hedge, we use both decimal
comma and decimal dot (point?).
We can write "3.14" or "3,14"
Moreover, sometimes we print numbers in wrong keyboard layout (fuck Stalin!),
so we get "3б14" or "3ю14"
Currently in LO, for example, for page size, I should use decimal comma.
It would be great if you made LO correctly recognize these cases for Russia
localized version.
This will improve user experience and make work in LO more pleasant (maybe, in
this point even more pleasant, than in MSO).
Moreover, maybe it is a good idea to treat first non-number non-space symbol as
decimal comma?

Best regards, NickKolok

P. S. Please enable pages great than 300x200 cm. Yes, we need it!

[libreoffice-users] Проблемы с изображениями в base64. Problem with images encoded in base64

2014-06-12 Thread NickKolok

When I open html file with base64-encoded image, the image has wrong (default)
size - only if img tag hasn't width and height attrs.
There is an example in attached file - html with 3 images: regular http without
width and height, base64 without width and height, base64 with width and height
Yours sincerely,
NickKolok

[libreoffice-users] Some issues about Writer

2013-06-02 Thread NickKolok

Greetings from Russia, comrads!
I've installed Fedora and LibreOffice onto my girlfriend's computer. She
started to use them some months ago and now we have some questions to you, dear
developers.
1) There was a moment when LibreOffice alerted message like "LibreOffice can't
save important internal information" (or smth like this). She couldn't close
that messasge as well as save her work. We have been trying many things for ~2
hours, but the solution was to close Firefox. So, if such situations are
possible, maybe it's worth to add tips to that message?
2) She finds unability to crop images visually in Writer very unconvenient. I
mean that there is no tool "Crop" is available in Writer but there is such a
tool in Draw (with scissorson icon). Moreover, there IS such a toll in Impress!
So, can we wait and hope than once it will appear in Writer, too? Or there is a
high reason for this fact, e.g. unix-way?
Thank you for your attention and excuse me for my quite bad English.
