[libreoffice-users] Calc - SUMIF - between two date condition

2019-10-27 Thread csanyipal
Hi,

I am trying to do a calculation in my LO Calc spredsheet.
The function that I want to run is the following:

SUMIFS($Expenses.I2:I323;$Expenses.K2:K323;"food";$Expenses.B2:B323;">="
$Incomes.A3)

but get the Error:509 in the Result cell.

In the I2:I323 range there are prices of goods out there.
In the K2:K323 range there are names (types) of those goods out there.
In the B2:B323 range there are dates of days when expenses occures out
there.
In the $Incomes.A3 there is the date of the day when an income occures out
there.

So what I want is the following.
I want to sum those prices which are occured when the good was "food" but
only then when that day occured at date stored in the $Incomes.A3 cell or
after that date.

What am I doing rong?

I understand your arguments.

I think this is at the moment impossible, even with the use of the

But one day in the near(?) future there will be an AI agent, "who" can help

I mean is there such a tool to highlight just nouns with one click?

Or can I create a macro for this job?

[libreoffice-users] =COUNTIF(F16:X21;"8a")+1 - Error:509 ?

2015-08-31 Thread csanyipal
Hello,

I have installed LO 5.0.0.5, Gentoo official package.
I have setup LINGUAS to hu: hu-HU (hu_HU.utf8).

In one of my old Calc sheet, I have function
=COUNTIF(F16:X21;"8a")+1
In previous LO version this was without error, but now it shows me this
error. Why?

Now, If I remove the '+1' from the end of function, it is OK, but then I get
not the value which I want.
Now, how can I increase with '1' the value of the function:
=COUNTIF(F16:X21;"8a")

[libreoffice-users] To open a second Sheet with one mouse click from the first Sheet in same document?

2014-09-26 Thread csanyipal
Hello,

I'm using LibreOffice 4.2.6.3
Build: 4.2.6.3 Arch Linux build-4

Is it possible to create a hyperlink in a cell ( text or button ) in one
Calc Document on one Sheet so if one click on that hyperlink then get
focused another Sheet in the same Document?

The purpose of this would be that that one should not searching a specific
Sheet in the same Calc document but only to click in the first Sheet on a
hyperlink so to get quickly the desired Sheet focused for a data entry.

I tried this with 'Control+K' in a cell and setup there the desired Sheet in
the same document. I then get a #1 text in the cell but it doesn't work;
when I click on it with 'Control + mouse click' I get not focused the
desired Sheet.

Why can't I achieve this goal this way?

[libreoffice-users] Searching numbers between two values

2013-06-14 Thread csanyipal
Hi,

I'm using LibreOffice 4.0.3.3 (Build az.: 400m0(Build:3)).

BetweenTwoNumbers.ods
http://nabble.documentfoundation.org/file/n4061491/BetweenTwoNumbers.ods

In the uploaded file BetweenTwoNumbers.ods there are four sheets:

between 20-60, Num 1, Num 2, Num 3.

On the 'between 20-60' sheet there are three functions to determine how many
numbers can find on sheets Num 1, Num 2 and Num 3 respectivly ( one by one )
and there is a fourth function that sholud count that at once on all Num 1-3
sheets.

As one can see, none of these three functions works:
=COUNTIF('Num 1'.A1;AND('Num 1'.A120;'Num 1'.A160))
=COUNTIF('Num 2'.A3;AND('Num 2'.A320;'Num 2'.A360))
=COUNTIF('Num 3'.A5;AND('Num 3'.A520;'Num 3'.A560))

moreover, I don't know how to create fourth function.

Can one advice me how to go further?

[libreoffice-users] Re: Searching numbers between two values

2013-06-14 Thread csanyipal
Now I'm searching the way how to SUM those numbers ( between 20 and 60 )
finded on sheets Num1, Num2, Num 3?

BetweenTwoNumbers.ods
http://nabble.documentfoundation.org/file/n4061519/BetweenTwoNumbers.ods

I uploaded the file again, because I changed it a little.
I changed it because I search for a function which I can put in to just one
cell of the 'between 20-60' sheet.

I found a solution! On can see it in the following uploaded file.

BetweenTwoNumbers.ods
http://nabble.documentfoundation.org/file/n4061578/BetweenTwoNumbers.ods

The function is:
=SUMIF('Num 1'.A1;20;'Num 1'.A1)-SUMIF('Num 1'.A1;60;'Num
1'.A1)+SUMIF('Num 2'.A1;20;'Num 2'.A1)-SUMIF('Num 2'.A1;60;'Num
2'.A1)+SUMIF('Num 3'.A1;20;'Num 3'.A1)-SUMIF('Num 3'.A1;60;'Num 3'.A1)

Is there a simpler way to do it?

OKI find what causes this behavior. Grade_CellBehavior.ods

In the uploaded file when one want to change the value of the AF6 cell,
because of the the auto-input of Calc I get the option '16-25' that is
actually a value of the AF46 cell in the Sheet itself.I find the solution:
one must to switch the Tools - Cell Contents - AutoInput option.Sorry for
the noise.

[libreoffice-users] A function doesn't work on cell whihc is a link to another cell

2013-06-11 Thread csanyipal
Hi,

Grade_CellBehavior.ods
http://nabble.documentfoundation.org/file/n4061013/Grade_CellBehavior.ods

In the uploaded Calc file 'Grade_CellBehavior.ods' the column AE and BH are
just simple cells with number values.

The Sheet '1.' in this file is a sheet from another, bigger Calc file (
called here 'file1' ) in which I have such sheets for every pupil.

I have also a Calc file 'file2' in which I have too such columns, as AE and
BH, but cells in these columns are not just cells with number values, but
links for 'file1'.

So, in the school I fill out the cells in the 'file1' file, come home, copy
the 'file1' into approppriate directory, open the 'file2' Calc file and get
the values into it from 'file1' automatically.

I hope this is cleare so far.

As one can see in 'Grade_CellBehavior.ods' when one change the value '3' in
AE6 to value '2' then the value in AD6 changes automatically to value !?.
This shows me that that a teacher closed the grade for that Subject badly.

But this doesn't work in the 'file2', because eg. the value in AE6 is not
just a number, but a value that we get is a link from 'file1'.

I hope this is clear.

How can I solve this to works in the 'file2' too?

[libreoffice-users] CELL() doesn't show the cell content of another CALC file

Hi,

I have two CALC files and in the second I created in one cell the CELL()
function:
=CELL(contents;'file:///win-adatok-1/Iskola/OsztalyFonok_vagyok/6.c_osztalyom/NaploBizonyitvanyKitoltesetSegitoTablazatok/6oszt_NaploBizonyitvany_KitoltesetSegitoTablazat.ods'#$'1.'.B6)

that should shows the cell contents of the first CALC file.

When I use instead of CELL() function the function:
='file:///win-adatok-1/Iskola/OsztalyFonok_vagyok/6.c_osztalyom/NaploBizonyitvanyKitoltesetSegitoTablazatok/6oszt_NaploBizonyitvany_KitoltesetSegitoTablazat.ods'#$'1.'.B6

then I can see the cell contetns of another CALC file.

Why doesn't work the CELL() function in this case?

[libreoffice-users] Automatically increasing next value by 2 in cells

2012-01-15 Thread csanyipal
Hi,

I have a Spreadsheet in which I must fill many cells with numbers so so
every next cell contain a number that is bigger then the previous number by
two.

However, these cells aren't neither side by side nor one underneath another
and are in pair (see the uploaded example file).

Moreover I have divers for these cells, so every kind of these cells must
increasing it's number by two separately from other kind of cells.

In the example ods file uploaded here one can see for example that that the
cell by '5c' cell in the first instance has value '1' and to the right of
this cell there is another '5c' cell that has value '2'. In the raws bellow
somewhere are another pair of '5c' cells by which these values are increased
by 2: the first is '3' and the second is '4'. And there are other kind of
cells, like '5a', '5b', '6a', '6b', '6c', etc. too that must be increased in
the next instance by 2.

How can I achieve that that the value of these cells get increased
automatically by 2?

I downloaded it and translate the UI to Hungarian. However I have some

In the 'fonction' sheet columns B and C are protected so one can't make none

 Hi Pal,

Did you forget the magic function SUMPRODUCT ?

 =SUMPRODUCT('O.tanácsi f.év'.Y7:Y26;'O.tanácsi
 f.év'.Y7:Y2625;'O.tanácsif.év'.Y7:Y26=384)

No, I didn't forget it, but it seems that that I didn't understand it
 well. Sorry.

So if I understand well, SUMPRODUCT in this case will summarize values of
cells in an array if we gives the formula:
=SUMPRODUCT('O.tanácsi f.év'.Z7:Z26;'O.tanácsi f.év'.Z7:Z26=8;'O.tanácsi
f.év'.Z7:Z26=17)

*=SUMPRODUCT(array;condition1;condition2)*

but will only count cells with the given conditions if we gives the formula:
=SUMPRODUCT('O.tanácsi f.év'.Z7:Z26=8;'O.tanácsi f.év'.Z7:Z26=17)

* =SUMPRODUCT(condition1;condition2)*

condition1 and condition2 are arrays too.

As one can see in the LO Help, SUMPRODUCT multiplies corresponding elements
in the given arrays, and returns the sum of those products.

I'm trying to understand SUMPRODUCT considering this case abowe. Is there
something more to be added to this explanation?

Thanks!
Pál
