again: set log level to debug. and post new logs.

Check CNMI command it usually needs 2 parameters. you are feeding only
2. Check phone UG to see if it supports CNMI. or try connecting
directly to the modem and issue AT+CNMI=? and AT+CNMI

  Its like that:

group = modems
id = nokia
name = "Nokia"
detect-string = "Nokia"
init-string = "ATZ"
#init-string = "AT+CMEE=1"
init-string = "AT Q0 V1 E1 S0=0 &C1 &D2 +FCLASS=0"
init-string = "AT+CNMI=0,1"
#message-storage = SM
#message-start = 0
#speed = 460800
#message-start = 0

  Still same error exist.

Re: Bearerbox couldn't be start ??

2011-07-02 Thread Alvaro Cornejo
Hi

Always cc the userlist this way you can have more help.

set log level to debug (0) to get more detailed info.

error says can't open logfile not the modem. Check that logfile path
exist and have write access to kannel user.

check init string of your modem. Seems there is a command not
recognised. Debugin info should give you more detail on which command
failed. Note that some nokia phones does not support CNMI command;
thus you will not be able to receive sms with it but only send.

Regards

Alvaro

RE: MO Empty SMS Issue

2011-07-02 Thread Rene Kluwen
Or another options is to prefix your keywords:

http://xx.xx.xx.xx/newamc/kannel_send/key_%p/par_%b/

This way, if %p is empty, you still won't get //, but /par_/ in stead.

Dear List;

I have a question regarding Kannel;

We are using a Redhat linux and the latest release of Kannel. We would
appreciate your help in knowing how can we handle empty SMS though Kannel.
The use case is as follows;

User sends empty SMS, Kannel receive it and send it to our application. The
URL when received by the application is not understood by the apache server
so the apache reject the URL. I would like to know if there is a way to tell
Kannel to respond automatically to the empty sms by sending text sms back
without coming in to the application

I look forward for your feedback
