Hi,
On my systems it works fine with source-addr-autodetect = yes and
of course nothing specified explicitly in the conf. Still the User Docs
state that if you wish to disable it it, it should be set to no,
rather than off. give this a try too.

Hi there,
When sending a message through SMPP to our SMSC, it is required that our
source-addr-ton is 0 (0x) to enable us to send greek characters
through the sms alias (from). But instead it is using 5. See my config below:
group = smsc
smsc = smpp
host = ***.***.***.***
port = 6009
receive-port = 0
smsc-username = tmp
smsc-password = tmp
system-type = tmp
address-range =
source-addr-autodetect = off
source-addr-ton = 0
source-addr-npi = 0
dest-addr-ton = 1
smsc-id = A
I have turned auto detect off and set the ton and npi to 0 but the ton
returns 5 and npi is 0.
Can you see anything that I could be doing wrong?
Thanks,
