Yes - good idea. I don't think there's a problem with it for authorized
merchandise (currently, the Cool Stuff Store and UnixStickers). By the
way: we make authorized stores through a pretty serious quality-control
process, so please do reward them by shopping there.

We don't do anything like certification or approval for hardware, so I
don't think we can do that part.

Hi Matt,

Technically would it be possible to gather under a single "Fedora Store"
page/hub those companies that has licensed merchandise? I mean not to build
up an extra company with store, else a Fedora faced store webpage with
items from multiple companies? Would it be possible to have such place and
include the currently supported arm dev boards from others - and ensuring a
central place for Fedora users where licensed merchandisers can sell their
products? Can Fedora support such page only where we give for users and
approved companies a market hub? It would be too much legal issue? Maybe
including hw offers/give-aways between community members?

Thank you,

Zoltan

http://www.unixstickers.com/collections/fedora is also officially
licensed merchandise. The hoodie

When I founded the first company with my cohorts, they always called
me "nerd" or "propeller head" (I was the CTO and chief architect), so I
found and started wearing a propeller beanie as a joke. Still have it.

Of course, the idea stuck (groan!), which is why my main development
machine is called "prophead". My primary test platforms are (not
surprisingly) called "hamster", "labrat" and "canuckmouse" (after the
poor mice sacrificed in Canada testing saccharine back in the 70's).

Dunno which one you bought, the best blue color is probably the
$78 "Bailey's Fleet Fedora". But thre's also a brilliant red model
in the same hat, for people who want to celebrate RH (since, as I hear,
RH no longer sells their red fedora to the general public).

OT : Blue Hat

2017-04-07 Thread Beartooth

Some of you might have tried in the
past to acquire an actual blue Fedora (as I
have, for years); if so, you might like to know that such hats
 now exist.

They carry the name "Bailey of Hollywood"; I got mine
 from

 https://www.herringtoncatalog.com/

 Color :

They call it Navy, and it is distinctly darker than the
royal blue characteristic of Fedora OS; but it is at least
 definitely blue.

 Size :

I ordered the biggest I could get, as I normally do
with hats & gloves. I could actually wear a thin cap in under
this XL, and may order a size L besides -- while I can still
 get it.
