The same way you would install Fedora 26 on any other 64 bit machine.

This is basically a fresh new install. If you have any files you want to
keep, copy them to a thumb drive, or somewhere else. Then, download
Fedora 64bit, then start it. You'll have to tell the installer to remove
all existing partitions, and create new ones.

If you have your /home directory on a separate partition (which is the
default arrangement) then you won't lose your personal files or configs.
You will just reinstall the / partition with the 64-bit version of Fedora.

Well. I don't know you went about installingor what desktop you'd
prefer as
your primary But for a fresh install with the standard Gnome (workstation)
desktop you'd want to download from

https://getfedora.org/en/workstation/download/ and pick the appropriate link.

You can have the choice of downloading a Live image or a Net-Install image.

With the live image you then do an install to disk an you get the released
version of
all the packages. After you're up and running there will be updates to install.

With the net install version, when you do the install the process downloads the
most
recent versions of the packages being installed.

FWIW, I've never heard of an easy method to take a 32-bit installation to a
64-bit
installation. So, it is best to "start over".

After reading the message from Ed Greshko, timed four minutes after
mine, I must correct the solution above to say that you may solve the
problem by replacing the 32-bit version of your operating system with a
64-bit version, which may be able to run the Skype software.

Wrong architecture is another way of saying that your computer is an
older 32-bit model that will not run the newer 64-bit version of the
Skype software.

What is wrong is that you are attempting to run software limited to
newer computers on your older hardware.

The solution is either to find a substitute software solution to replace
Skype, or to use a newer computer with a wider data path processor.

Anyway

Ah I think just found the "problem"

In checking my repo file for skype I found

baseurl=https://repo.skype.com/rpm/stable/

When you go to that URL you see

 repodata/2017-07-18 12:50-

skypeforlinux_5.4.0.1-1.x86_64.rpm2017-07-18 12:4669M

So, I don't see them providing a 32 bit version.
