Re: [OpenSIPS-Users] opensips rtpproxy and nat traversal for invite without register

2011-09-12 Thread Ovidiu Sas
Check if Avaya has support for SIP Path extension:
http://www.opensips.org/html/docs/modules/1.7.x/path.html
This would be the clean solution.

Alternative solution: replace the IP in Contact header of REGISTER and
mirror the registration on opensips.
This should trick Avaya to think that opensips is the one registering
and Avaya should send all INVITEs to opensips.

Second alternative solution: Instruct opensips to register itself on Avaya:
http://www.opensips.org/html/docs/modules/1.7.x/uac_registrant.html
Handle all registrations from SIP subscribers on opensips (let
opensips act as a full registrar).

Re: [OpenSIPS-Users] OpenSIPs Stress test problem

2011-09-12 Thread Luis Alfredo Morales Lora

Hello,
Thanks for your responses Flavio and Brett,

I'm using version 3.1 and I've also tried version 3.2 and I have the same
problem in both. I used the -trace_err to see what the errors where, and the
problem is that while Sipp is expecting a particular response, it receives
another, for example, while expecting and acknowledge it receives an OK. I used
wireshark to see what was happening, and i saw that the Opensips server
introduces a little delay in sending each response, but what I don't
understand is why with such a small call rate I'm having this problem.

Hi Luis, Which version of SIPp are you using? I had several issues with version
2.x. Please try the latest version from svn. Check the error runing sipp using
-trace_err(or something similar, I don't remember the exact parameter now).
Identify which unexpected messages are ocurring (e.g. 408, 404, 407) this
can be a clue to solve the problem.

Greetings,
I've been trying to do a the stress test of my opensips server using the
configuration file presented in the project site (simple stateful proxying) and
SIPp, but with just 100 CPS I get a lot of unexpected message in SIPp. I've
used the defaults scenarios, and I've also modified them, but still having the
same problem. Can anybody tell me if for the test presented in the project
site, did they use a custom SIPp scenario, and if so, what modifications they
use in that scenario? Or whatelse can I do to test the system with a high
traffic rate?

Thanks,

Re: [OpenSIPS-Users] need step by step guide lines for media proxy installation

2011-09-12 Thread Dave Singer
Have you checked if relay and dispatcher are actually running?
Have you run them in the foreground with debug turned on to see why
use_media_proxy returned an error?
I'm betting Brett is right that radius is at least primarily the problem.
I would disable it's use in opensips.cfg and mediaproxy/config.ini to see
where that gets you.
With the instructions that you followed I'm guessing you installed on a
debian based system. I used those instructions along with a couple others to
get it working on CentOS (Red Hat) systems.
I posted my detailed steps
http://opensips.org/pipermail/users/2011-January/016399.html
It might help for working out the kinks of the configs. There are also links
to the other instruction sources I used.

I've tried the simple stateful configuration in the opensips site, but I've

### Global Parameters #

/* uncomment the next line to disable TCP (default on) */disable_tcp=yes

### Routing Logic

Can't really tell without seeing what the errors are and what your script is
doing. Are you doing any database lookups??

Luis,
You didn't answer my logging questions. I've seen bad logging configurations
totally disable an opensips server. Specifically a registration server that
could handle ONE phone but not TWO. No kidding. Problem was 100% syslog setup.
Disabled logging and back up to being able to handle thousands of phones.

This is pretty well documented and has been reported in the past. That may be
your issue.

Luis,
Your scenario isn't setup to properly handle the call flow. The error
message clearly shows that 200 was expected but 180 was received.

Re: [OpenSIPS-Users] OpenSIPs Stress test problem

2011-09-12 Thread Luis Morales

Hello Brett,
The SIPp scenarios are configured to handle the correct flow. If I run the SIPp
UAC directly with the SIPp UAS I don't get the errors, it just happend when I
use the OpenSIPs as a proxy. And that error doesn't occur on every call, is
just in some. After I disabled the logging, I'm getting about 200 unexpected
messages, out of about 25,000 calls (with a call rate of about 3000 calls per
second). But i don' really know why this is happening. Here is the code I use
in the UAS side of the scenario:
scenario name=Basic UAS responder !-- By adding rrs=true (Record Route
Sets), the route sets -- !-- are saved and used for following
messages sent. Useful to test -- !-- against stateful SIP proxies/B2BUAs.
   --  recv request=INVITE crlf=true  /recv
  !-- The '[last_*]' keyword is replaced automatically by the --
!-- specified header if it was present in the last message received -- !--
(except if it was a retransmission). If the header was not -- !--
present or if no message has been received, the '[last_*]' -- !--
keyword is discarded, and all bytes until the end of the line-- !-- are
also discarded.  --  !--
--  !-- If the
specified header was present several times in the -- !-- message,
all occurences are concatenated (CRLF seperated)-- !-- to be used in
place of the '[last_*]' keyword. --

[OpenSIPS-Users] error when use function t_relay

2011-09-12 Thread nguyen khue
Hi all,

I have a module to process SIP message (INVITE, INFO, 200 OK, BYE). I have use
t_relay function to capture 200 OK message in block onreply_route. But, After I
use t_relay function, INFO, BYE, some ACKs messages cannot route to
destination. If I insert some t_relay function in config file, it work normal.

ex:
if (is_method(INFO)){
t_relay();  // if this function is missing, the SIP INFO cannot reach the
destination
process_info_msg();
}
.
.
.

route[1]{
t_on_branch(2); t_on_failure(1); t_on_reply(2);
process_invite_msg();
if ($fU == ){
load_balance(1,transc);
}
else {
load_balance(2,transc);
}
if(!t_relay()){
sl_reply_error():
}
exit;
}

onreply_route[2]{
process_ok_msg();
}

I using opensips-1.6.2. My module is : kapanga - opensips - asterisk. Kapanga
and Asterisk don't register to opensips.
Please help me resolve this problem.

Thank you very much
