Re: [OpenSIPS-Users] Authorizing Register messages for multiple domains

2009-09-17 Thread Srikanth Rajagopalan
Hi,

I got it working now. The problem seems to have been with the domain_reload not
working properly. I had to
touch /tmp/opensips_fifo
chmod 755 /tmp/opensips_fifo
to get it working.

I have a doubt now. I added users us...@domain1  and us...@domain2. Is there a
way I could stop them from being able to contact each other. That is users from
one domain cannot contact the 2nd domain?

Thanks,
Srikanth

Hi Srikanth,

The default opensips config script does have support for multidomains,
what you have to do is to simply to un-comment all the relevant parts
(follow the indications from the file).

If you get a too many hops it typically means your opensips did not
recognized the SIP domain from the REGISTER as a local SIP domain (and
to be handled locally).
So, check if the SIP domain from RURI of the REGISTER is configured in
the domain table. Also depending of the db_mode you have in domain
module, you may need or not to restart your opensips after adding the a
new domain in the table.

Regards,
Bogdan

[OpenSIPS-Users] Authorizing Register messages for multiple domains

2009-09-15 Thread Srikanth Rajagopalan
Hi All,

I need some help with implementing multi-domain authorization for register
messages. I went through the documentation available and made changes to the
config file as is directed in the config file. I also added the new domain to
the domain table. Now when I try to register any user it complains saying too
many hops. I am not sure how to get this working.

It would really be great if someone could tell me what changes other than those
mentioned in the config file.

Thanks,
Srikanth Rajagopalan

[OpenSIPS-Users] Manually populating xcap table

2009-08-17 Thread Srikanth Rajagopalan
Hi everybody,

I currently have an Opensips server with presence enabled. I want to have a
buddy list implementation and have no need for any presence rules or such
stuff.

Currently the table xcap is populated by the xcap_client module after
retrieving the document from the xcap server.

What I would like to do is manually populate this table by sending the resource
list xml file as the body of a sip message or something like that. Ultrimately
I don't want an xcap server. I just want to manually put in this buddy-list
into the table. Could someone here give me pointers on if I could do this and
how could I do it?

Thanks and Regards,
Srikanth Rajagopalan

Hi Bogdan,

Thanks. I am using RHEL5. I installed this package
xmlrpc-c_1.06.21
as I couldn't find any non debian package for libxmlrpc-c3-dev.

It compiled fine but still doesn't work when i try to load the module
mi_xmlrpc.so .

The logs were like this

Hi Srikanth,

You need to install the libxmlrpc-c3-dev package

[OpenSIPS-Users] Regarding implementing presence

2009-07-16 Thread Srikanth Rajagopalan
Hi,

I first used opensiops to implement a sip server without any presence
capabilities. Now I needed to add presence.

My clients are implemented using Pjsip. I try to subscribing to one another and
they turn out successful. But when I check out the database I dont see any
entry in the active_watchers table or watchers table.

In the log file I saw the error

Can't Connect to local mysql server through socket /var/lib/mysql/mysql.sock

I think this might be because of maybe the changes I made to the config file
while trying to enable presence

These are the changes I made

Uncommented out the 2 loadmodule lines

Uncommented the 3 modparam lines related to presence

In the modparam line with db_url I changed the url to
mysql://opensips:opensip...@localhost:mysql/opensips

Removed the lones related to presence from the exclude modules in Makefile

Finally I made it using include_modules including all presence related modules

Also, next the clients tried to publish some info and I got the error message
503: service unavailable

But the other client still received Notify messages.

I am not sure if that was because of opensips or pjsip.

It would really be helpful if some one could guide me where I am wrong.

Thanks,
Srikanth Rajagopalan
