One can convert the file to OpenOffice formats by using www.zamzar.com online
service.

What's wrong apparently is that there must be bug in the software. This
complaint seems to surface about once a week or so.
Why don't you file a bug report with OpenOffice. Then send another one to
LibreOffice. LO must have copied it when they forked.

I have installed the OpenOffice deb files on 32 and 64 bit Debian based systems
for the past five years with no problems.
Expand the archive using an Archive manager and extract it. In my case it
extracts into Downloads/en-GB.
Then, in a terminal, enter the following four lines with the en-GB changed to
suit your version

cd Downloads/en-GB/DEBS
sudo dpkg -i *.deb
cd desktop-integration
sudo dpkg -i *.deb

If there are errors, you need to note these and report back.

If a correct install OpenOffice should show up in your Office group. You can
also run it from a terminal by entering

openoffice4

As an initial troubleshooting step, reset your OpenOffice user profile see:

http://forum.openoffice.org/en/forum/viewtopic.php?p=58403

This will reset all your preferences to default (rename or copy the
current profile before it.

Hello,

I am trying to create a spreadsheet, that will be used as a report.

You will see in the top left corner of each page, I would like to have
a logo/picture there.

It doesn't seem to matter, how I put it there. It moves around the
document. You can see it in the "print preview" and after you have
come in and out of the document, you can it moved.

I did try to merge cells to see if that would be what was needed, but
I cant work it out.

Make sure you position the picture in the cell anchor it to the cell.
You also need to define print ranges and insert manual page breaks.
Attached is the modified document.
I think you make your live much easier if you have each form in a
separate sheet.

ARE YOU ABLE TO HELP?
