I just downloaded the latest Open Office but my OSX Maverick system tells me I am not allowed to open it because it's from an unauthorized developer. Yet I have been using the previous version of Open Office. Can this be fixed? If not, can I download the previous version of Open Office? Dear Jürgen, I downloaded AOO 4.1.0 and after installation of the full product, nothing worked... I used Firefox for the download (not Internet Explorer, which causes so much trouble these days). I have it uninstalled as completely as I can. Later today I'll give it another try. Hello, As I understand it, version 4.1.0 should run on Mac OSX 10.6.8. However, when I try to run the program, I receive an error message saying it only works with 10.7 and above; clicking the OK button leaves me in Nowhere Land.
