Re: [Issue 127072] dictionary is installed but contains no words

2016-08-15 Thread Kay sch...@apache.org
There's a patch that might fix this associated with issue 126762:

https://bz.apache.org/ooo/show_bug.cgi?id=126762

This has already been applied to trunk some time ago. Since the Win
nightly buildbot is now working-- https://ci.apache.org/builders/aoo-win7,

Maybe someone would like to test this?

Results can be found at:

https://ci.apache.org/projects/openoffice/

This whole "spellchk" & "delete profile" is utter nonsense. Surely,
SURELY!, AOO is smart enough to handle this with a simple macro. Maybe
even with a "tab" pointing to the macro.

This "*spellchk is busted*" mess has gone on long enough. Garden variety
users shouldn't be burdened with this crap. I'm not bright enough to write
such a macro, but I'll bet 60 or 100 (10,000?) other users/developers are.
