Need help with OOwriter, but the website won't verify my submitted acct
info so i can't ask the question - how do i get out of edit mode in a
document, which right now shows all my adds/edits/deletes. how do i
deactivate/suppress from viewing the edits so i can print without seeing
edits?

There is currently a problem with activation emails not being accepted 
by GMail for those with GMail addresses.

It seems you sent a mail to users-h...@openoffice.apache.org (note the 
-help suffix). The -help address gives you that output (i.e., it sends 
back to you a mail with instructions; and nothing is delivered to the 
list). If you want to write to the list, use users@ as you just did.

Actually I mistakenly sent the same message to 
users-retu...@openoffice.apache.org, realized my error and re-sent the
message to users@openoffice.apache.org

It may not be an important issue for the group, but I'd still like to know
why I am getting the message from users-return.  I rarely post to the
group but enjoy reading and learning about issues.  According to
users-return I am not receiving all the  messages, is that correct?  Is
every message that is posted to the support group being monitored for
receipt by every member?

btw, I've checked my spam folders and have not found any
users@openoffice.apache.org emails inadvertently sent there. Why would some
messages not be received when others are?
