If you are using Windows, close OpenOffice and the Quickstarter. Open File Explorer. Copy and paste %appdata%\OpenOffice\4 in the File Explorer Address Bar and press Enter. So no, I don't think you can print them where they appear in the editing screen - at the side of the related text. I have 4.0.1 which does not have this feature which I need for my Course work. If you want to create sidebars, you have a number of choices. You could insert a frame for each comment. But your best bet is probably to make your entire document a table with two columns and one row; the table does not need to have a border, so need not be visible, and can span multiple pages. Then your text could go in a large column and the comments in a parallel narrow column. You'd have to experiment with aligning your comments, which would presumably be sparser then that parallel text. You can set vertical positioning as a paragraph or a paragraph style property. It may be easier to distribute your text between different table rows, so that comments can be placed in the corresponding row. I trust this helps. On the File menu, go to Printer Settings ... and on the Printer Setup dialog click Options... in the lower-left corner. Look at the Comments column for the available choices. Hi, today I downloaded Apache Open Office. Unfortunately, the thesaurus is not available. Why ?
