Re: [users] paths in oow
Rogier van Vlissingen wrote: recently changed a directory, namely the location of the template directory. I changed the paths under options, so it is set correctly, yet, when I try to launch a new file with a template, i first starts looking for the file under the old path which has long since been deleted. So there must be some other place besides the Options where it maintains a record of the paths? What is it? If I remember right you will have to delete the templates from the template list and then add the templates from the new folder. Once the templates have been added to the list the path will remain pointed to the old folder. It is not automatically updated. Re: [users] Re: Dictionary problem
Russell Thanks for replying. I downloaded a new English dictionary Dave Russell Butler wrote: David Bowman wrote: I just updated my dictionary (English) and now it shows all text as being misspelled. Please let me know what happened and how to fix it. I am using XP/sp3 and OOo3. David Bowman Hi David This usually comes from the text language setting not matching the dictionary setting. Are you sure you used the same English dialect - can be US, GB, CA, AU, etc. If you right click in a paragraph, go to "Edit Paragraph Style" and select the "Font" tab, the language setting will be shown in a box, and should have a small ABC with a check mark (tick) to indicate there is a dictionary to match. Then look in "Tools - Options-Language Settings-Languages and see that the language setting there matches. Again the presence of a dictionary is indicated by a small ABC with a check mark (tick).
