i dont want to know why browsing in ovirt3.6's (3.6.2) admin console is
slow. i use firefox42.0 (from windows system) . it is a little faster in
google chrome but it is slow too.how can i solve this problem? thanks in

the problem solved.
network team confused me . their switch crash and  our ehterchannel
configurations deleted ! after reconfigure swith   everything  is ok.  :)

Stale file handle   related to   selinux .  i ran  setenforce 0  and
restart nfs on hv03,04,05,07  and those messages disappeared  :)

but  on some hosts like hv03  when run  df -h   it doesnt show nfs path!

[ovirt-users] solution for removing a data storage

hi everyone

for removing a data storage and add it again this solution is ok:


 1. Use the Storage resource tab, tree mode
2. Select the storage domain in the main tab
3. In the details pane at bottom select datacenter tab
4. Select the DC where the storage domain is active
5. Select Maintenance link
6. Select Detach link to detach from the data center.

Now you don't see any more the storage domain in storage resource tab.
7. Go to system --> Storage
and the storage domain now in in an unlinked state
8. Select the storage domain and choose "remove"
9. Select a host from the list.
10. Click OK to remove the storage domain and close the window.

ubuntu agent should be add in the list like vmware . about installation i
have to install ovirt packages by local repository and there is problem in
this status and in adding  host to ovirt manager you need to install
packages that need to internet .

[Users] vm network problem

hi everyone

i am a newbie in ovirt . i installed ovirt 3.2 on centos6.4. i ran VM's on
node manager but i cant connect to them. i installed ovirt in  a network
that doesnt access to internet. i have only one active interface on host
(host and ovirt node manager on a server). should i run dhcp or there is
any other solution?thanks in advance

how can i access to spice remote from a windows client ? i could connect to
ovirt manager from firefox (on a windows system) but i couldnt see spice
icon. in linux we can install spice-xpi but how can i access it from

hi everyone


i have a problem in adding host to ovirt manager. infact i want to add
ovirt manager as a hypervisor node (host).
if you see my snapshot  some errors will be bold:

cannot validate hostname settings reason resolved host does not match
any of the local addresses
yum cannot queue package tuned; no packages  available to install
failed to execute package installation
failure code 1 during ssh session root@internal


os: centos6.4
ovirt engine : 3.2
server : hp dl580 g7
hostname: main-ovirt.nocrservices.org
