I added this yesterday since other users have request this feature. It will be
included in release 1.3.6.

I believe Francis recently fixed that.
As a workaround, this problem disappeared for me once I switched in the
webinterface for the GMT version of my time zone (e.g. "GMT+8" instead
of "Asia/Bangkok").

As of this morning the fix was also not yet in sogo-demo.inverse.ca.
Avoid my mistake and check the sogo-demo version prior to logon/test at
sogo-demo.

Wolf

OK. I'm going to wait the next release. I'm in production so I don't going
to use the nigthly build version.

Don't work for me.

Thanks for the help

[SOGo] Thunderbird Calendar Subscription Problem

2011-03-22 Thread Andrew Mostovych
Hi,

I have installed the SOGo ZEG Virtual server and have got it working on
a fixed IP address on a local network with all of the defaults. I can
connect via the web page as well as with Evolution and access calendars
& address books of all users. At this time we are not using SOGo as our
mail server. Even though we can access the dav calendars, contacts, and
tasks with evolution we can not do so with Thunderbird (connector or
integrator & Lightning). In Evolution the Caldav subscription process
asks for the user password but Thunderbird does not -- I think this is
the problem. I understand that Thunderbird is trying to use the user
email information and password for this purpose but in our case we are
not using the sogo e-mail server and it cannot make a connection. We
have tried to setup dummy accounts with usern...@example.com but this
did not seem to work. Please help if you have any ideas on hot solve
this problem. Thanks.

Andrew

Re: [SOGo] mailto links handled by SOGo ?

2011-03-22 Thread Dominique Gagnon

Hi,

Here's a message I posted to the mailing list some months ago:

--

Hi,

I've done as told on
http://lifehacker.com/392287/set-firefox-3-to-launch-gmail-for-mailto-links
. After login to SOGo with "myuser", I replace what's in the address
field by this:

javascript:window.navigator.registerProtocolHandler("mailto","http://myservername/SOGo/so/myuser/Mail/compose?mailto=%s","SOGo";)

This sets SOGo as the handler of mailto links. After that, if I click on
a mailto link, I get a new message window but what's in the recipient
field is mailto:recipientaddr...@domain.tld instead of
recipientaddr...@domain.tld because the special Firefox variable %s
contains mailto:recipientaddr...@domain.tld . Does anyone knows if there
is another variable I could use or another URL instead of
http://myservername/SOGo/so/myuser/Mail/compose?mailto=%s ..??

Thanks,

Dominique Gagnon

Hi Daniel.

Hi, and thanks for your response

I think, impossible whilst there's no Single-Sign-On implemented. Ypu
have to pass the authentication before opening a window for a letter
composing.

But, is there a way to do this, even if the user have to manually auth
on SOGo before it can work ?

Hi everyone.

I'd like to ask if anyone knows how to configure Firefox so that mailto
links in webpage are handled by SOGo (ie. open a new composition window
in SOGo) ?

[SOGo] Removed messages on the phone (IMAP) reappear after next sync

2011-03-22 Thread Rosario Russo

Hi all,
I don't know if my issue is caused by a strange implementation of IMAP
in Outlook for PocketPC or a wrong configuration of SOGo (and all of
its connectors). But when I remove a message from my phone (via IMAP),
after the next synchronization it reappears and it's not deleted from
the server.

So if I delete all the messages in my inbox (on the phone), I found
all of them during next sync! In order to do this, I have to delete
them using the web interface of SOGo...

Is IMAP implemented differently on PocketPC? Or is it a problem in my
config?

I'm using SOGo last version in SME 8-beta6.

Thanks all.

Perhaps you forgot to hit "expunge" or "toss trash" or whatever it's called
in Outlook. In IMAP the mail is tagged for deletion, but since rewriting
the mailbox is expensive (in mailbox format, i.e. all messages in one file,
versus maildir, i.e. one message per file), they're all deleted together
when the user hits "expunge". Some users turn on "expunge on exit" so they
don't have to remember to do it manually.
