[SOGo] CardDav: Mac Lion and SOGo Demo Address Book
Hello, I'm trying out the online demo at http://sogo-demo.inverse.ca/SOGo, In particular I'm interested in using CardDav sync with Mac Lion 10.7.1 Address Book. Using the URL: sogo-demo.inverse.ca/SOGo/dav/sogo1/ connects me to some already populated address book which is not visible on the SOGo web interface. What is this address book? I've tried specifying an address book like: sogo-demo.inverse.ca/SOGo/dav/sogo1/contacts/Personal (and other variations), but I haven't found a working URL yet. How does the URL scheme work for specific addres books? Thanks! -- users@sogo.nu https://inverse.ca/sogo/lists

[SOGo] emails stuck in outbox with exchange mode
Hi everyone, I've been configuring accounts with native outlook compatibility with the new ZEG, and everything seems to work fine except that i can't send e-mail with these accounts using the Outlook client. e-mails to be sent are placed in the Outbox folder, and never move from there. I have to configure another normal IMAP account on the client to be able to send emails. Everything else works fine...Am i the only one facing this problem? am i missing something? I have no Exchange background so maybe it is the normal behavior? Thanks for any help/Advice and thanks for all the people involved in SOGo. thomas DAVID -- users@sogo.nu https://inverse.ca/sogo/lists

[SOGo] SOGoEnablePublicAccess
Hello I've some quick questions about how SOGoEnablePublicAccess works. If I set it to YES, does this mean every calendar and address book is reachable via the public URL without login? Or must the owner use the Publish calendar... function on each calendar and/or address book in order to enable it? What about shared calendars/address books? Which privileges must I have in order to be able to publish them? If I try to subscribe such a public calendar/address book without privileges set explicitly for me. Will this succeed? Thanks to Jelmer Vernooij for assistance with the ldb package. I am having an issue with installing the samba4 package, something with library paths... With a little more work I think it is do-able, for Squeeze at least, I doubt that Lenny is a viable target and it being old-stable is probably not worth the effort. After installing most of this I was able to build both SOPE and SOGo src's as in the doc SOGo Native Microsoft Outlook Configuration, but using the dpkg-buildpackage. There are some things that need fixing in the Debian packages as there is a move to Multiarch for Wheezy and onwards: http://wiki.debian.org/Multiarch The 'quick fix' that allowed me to get the packages to build are, in the unpacked source-tree: sed -i -e's#/\*/#/#' debian/*.install sed -i -e 's#/\$(DEB_HOST_MULTIARCH)##g' debian/rules The first 'sed' does an inplace replacement of the /*/ in the install files. These directories don't exist on non-multiarch systems. The second 'sed' does something similar, removing substitutions, for the 'rules' file. Check for build dependencies: dpkg-checkbuilddeps Install any missing dependencies. Check that these are not one of the others in my list above. If so, build that package first. Build the package(s): dpkg-buildpackage -b -uc This says we only want a binary (no source) package and that not to sign the '.changes' file. Doing this, I was able to end up with a non-erroring build of all the above packages! I didn't, but it may be worth seting up reprepro, or the like, and placing all your packages in there. The benefits are not messing with lots of dependency problems with 'dpkg -i'. I had over 100 .deb files when finished. I believe that there are still some issues with the backports. I am, however, a only a SysAdmin and not much of a developer. I hope that this will help kick-start some further work in this direction. I may be able to help a little and if I find more time see if I can resolve the issues that I am having. This is all not so my area of ken. Re: Re: [SOGo] [openchange] install on debian squeeze 64-bit
Hello, I've had the same problem. I have solved it by manually giving him the Pythonpath. For Openchange you need to take the one where the openchange folder is inside of site-packages. In my case on ubuntu this was /usr/local/lib/python2.7/site-packages, in this folder you can find a folder called openchange. I don't know whether it's the same folder for you. Respectively, the command would be: sudo PYTHONPATH='/usr/local/lib/python2.7/site-packages' ./openchange_newuser --create x Hope this helps. Re: [SOGo] ZEG Configuration
I am also looking for such instructions, including how to setup SSL for all connections. If anyone can provide steps on how to setup production ready VM that would be great! Thanks. [SOGo] Cannot access exchange server from outlook
Hello, I have finally set up and compiled the sogo v2 beta and have set the realm and domain to my local domain, not Openchange.local. If I set it to default openchange.local everything will work fine but if I set it to my own domain outlook does not find the exchange server and I cannot set up the account. How can I correctly set openchange and samba up so that I can use my own domain? Kind regards, Christoph Schröder-- users@sogo.nu https://inverse.ca/sogo/lists
