Re: [SOGo] Android status?

2011-11-17 Thread Simon Veit

Hello Heiner,

sorry for only answering the first question of your mail.

In the SOGo Webinterface I can select if I want to be reminded of events
in imported calendars (which I deselected for my gf's personal calendar
but kept it selected for the kids' calendar).
Oh, and I almost forgot, you can have multiple calendars for each user,
so setting up two calendars for your wife (one personal and one
work) should do the trick.

Yours,
Simon

Hello Simon,

thanks for the info, that sounds great.
Do you get the reminders for all calendars, or can you select for which
calendars the alarms shall be enabled?
The background is that I want to sync the work calendar of my wife in order to
be able to arrange meetings we both can take part in. However, I do not want
to get a reminder every time she has a meeting at work...

Hello Heiner,

I'm using both apps (bought them via androidpit.de). Syncing multiple
calendars (two-way) works like a charm, just import calendars from other
users in the webinterface and you will be able to sync them on your
mobile. I'm using four calendars (personal/work on my own account and
personal/kids on my gf's account) and sync/edit/create/view them on my
HTC Vision running on CM7.1.
Syncing contacts also works without any hassle.

I noticed some little glitch when changing times for a series of
calendar-entries, but I think this happened when changing them in TB8
with lightning 1.0 on the same SOGo installation.

Hello André,

I've asked the author and he says:

currently there is only a free as in beer version of CardDAV-Sync.
The DAViCal Wiki entry has been written by an user not by me.
As my website states I'm planning to make both of them open source once
they are worth it. I don't want to open the code right now because it
is just not ready to be published.
By not ready I mean that I'm still in the process of finding an
architecture and defining interfaces. My plan is to put some stuff in
separate libraries and publish them under GPL on Sourceforge as soon as
I think its interface (and most of its implementations) is good enough.

I like when it's OSS, for me it's not so important if it's freeware.

The both at begining an upgrade and after a fresh install.
After deleting sqllite acl I have always the bug.
I test with TB 8 + lightning classic , add manualy my cal and it's work.
So I think it could be the plugin : Integrator 106 or lightning Inverse
 edition 106
In SOGo 1.3.7 and plugins in 105 I have no bug.
but where it's crazy : I have install too a SOGo ZEG 1.3.8 with plugins
105 and i have always the bug !

 No more ideas ?
Anymore I solved my problem with install of ZEG SOGo 1.3.7 and plugins 3.105
in my point of view the 1.3.9 version and plugins 3.106 are overbug
 thx

[SOGo] more flexible contacts search

Hello everybody,

Is there a way to add more attributes as options to Address Book search/filter?

Now there are only two: Name and Email and Category.

I think it would be great to have also the possibility to search by
organization, position, address (city and country), birthday date, etc.

Any ideas?

Thanks!

[SOGo] events display in web interface

2011-11-17 Thread Nicolas - Lileo

Hi everybody,

SOGo is great, but obviously need to be improved.
In the web interface, Calendar section, you can choose different kind of
filters for the list of events:

Today, Next 7 days, etc..
But there is no filter all events like you have in thunderbird.

Is there a way to make is available?

Thanks

Clear enough, but that filter only affect the list above the calendar view. All

I try to use the good words but it's not so easy, i'm french... :)

Yes, in the calendar view you can delete or modify past events, but if
you have many past events on a year period, it's not easy.
This list above the calendar view is very usefull (it's the same in
thunderbird, right?) but i think the filter all events is missing.

When the calendar event list gets live-loading like the mail interface,

 Hi jeff,

Thanks a lot !! I can confirm 100% your hint ! I can verify the problem on
my iPad ( with iOS 5.0.1) as well but can work around
as you have written by explicitly choosing the SOGO Contacts Group instead
 of All Contacts !

Okay. Go in settings -- Mail, contacts, calendars -- scroll down till you
reach Contacts.

There you can choose sort order and your default account for contacts.

Mail, contacts and calendars is divided into three sections: Mail, there you
see the list of your mail accounts, contacts and calendars. The headlines of
those sections is hard to spot, it's kinda grey.

Hello Simon,

thank you for answering my questions. If I deselect the alarms for one
calendar in the web interface, will they also be disabled on the mobile?
Otherwise, the mobile will remind me about my wifes events, which is very
confusing...

Best regards

In the SOGo Webinterface I can select if I want to be reminded of events

Oh, and I almost forgot, you can have multiple calendars for each user,

 work) should do the trick.

[SOGo] SOGo-web and imap folders number limit

2011-11-17 Thread Moussa NOMBRÉ

Hi

I've problem with an imap account in SOGo web : nothing is showed in the
mail (others things work good, calendar, contacts, preferences).
When checking, I notice that this account has above 700 folders and
sub-folders.

When I reduce the number of folder (deleting them in a test account),
mail part works in the web.

So, what is the limit of folder one can have in SOGo Web.
Is there a way to increase this limit ?

Thanks

[SOGo] Problems creating User Accounts ...

2011-11-17 Thread sankeny
I have an HP Proliant DL385 G7 with openSuSE 11.4 (and all current patches)
installed as a virtual machine on a VMware ESXi 5.0 hypervisor. I've included
openLDAP2, PostgreSQL, Postfix, Apache2 and Cyrus IMAP/POP Server.

I configured my LDAP from the tutorial here:

http://digiplan.eu.org/ldap-samba-howto-v4.html

YaST did a great job, and everything worked including the Samba Domain.

I downloaded SOGo/Sope for openSuSE from the repositories here:

http://download.opensuse.org/repositories/home:/oeufdure:/SOGO/openSUSE_11.4/

I followed the Installation Guide here:

http://www.sogo.nu/files/docs/SOGo%20Installation%20Guide.pdf

I setup the web server as discussed here:

http://blog.life-show.net/?p=234

Everything started without error - sogo, apache2

The problem came when I attempted to create the SOGo Administrative account
(and other user accounts) following Chapter 6 of the Installation Guide.

In that chapter, it suggests creating LDIF files and importing them into LDAP
via 'ldapadd' which after some adjustment to the command, I was able to do.

'ldapadd -f sogo.ldif -x -W -D cn=Administrator,dc=meadorandco,dc=com'

It prompts for the LDAP password. I used the same command for each LDIF

'slapcat' shows the entries are imported to LDAP However, YaST will not import
the LDIFs through the LDAP Server interface. It gives an error:

Entry 'uid=sogo,ou=people,dc=meadorandco,dc=com' is not a child of
'cn=schema,cn=config'

openSuSE uses backend configuration in LDAP to add user information, but I do
not know how to add any includes or child entries to the backend.

It may be only that I need to add includes in the conf file for the LDIFs

'slapcat' also says there's no DB_CONFIG file in
'/var/lib/ldap/meadorandco.com'

I don't know if that's a problem.

When I login to the web interface servername/SOGo it accepts the username and
password, but ends with the message 'object not found: SOGo = username'

Is it an LDAP authentication problem? Is it an Apache problem?

Is it necessary that YaST import the LDIFs? Is something else missing?

I haven't discovered where the logs are located. Thanks in advance.
