[SOGo] v1.3.11 - Error in reply

2011-12-14 Thread Dominique

Hi,

Replying to mail in SOGo 1.3.11 (webmail) generates the following lines
in the message... The original message also disappears. Any idea how to
get around that one ?

missing element 'signaturePlacementOnTop' in component ''missing
element 'newLine' in component '' missing element 'outlookMode' in
component ''missing element 'newLine' in component '' missing
element 'standardMode' in component ''missing element 'newLine' in
component '' missing element 'newLine' in component '' missing
element 'messageBody' in component ''missing element 'newLine' in
component '' missing element 'newLine' in component '' missing
element 'newLine' in component '' missing element
'signaturePlacementOnBottom' in component ''missing element
'newLine' in component ''

Thanks in advance

AFAIK, no.
The only way to force a complete download of the address book is to
remove the abook file *and* edit prefs.js to remove any reference to it
(while thunderbird isn't running).

Re: [SOGo] I just came on board and I'm having some minor issues with my first SOGO install.

do you have any other recommendations to get rid of the HTTP
500 error when saving a draft from the SOGO web interface. Could it
have something to do with LDAP?
Does SOGO require that the LDAP server
have a predefined directory structure or does it build it.

This has nothing to do with LDAP at all.

 It seems
like SOGO builds it automatically because when I try to create a mail
box INBOX.Drafts using the cm command in cyradm utility I get an error
statusing that I don’t have rights to do it even though I’m using the
 cyrus admin user.

Sorry, but the cyrus user only has privilege for setting privileges on
all existing folders/mailboxes.
So in order to create some folder/mailbox you have to give the cyrus
user the privilege to do so first.
Add the create (== c) privilege for cyrus to the mailbox you want to add
folders.
Then you can create the additional Drafts folder/mailbox.

You should have the following folders in IMAP for each account:
INBOX (which is in cyrus something like user.username)
INBOX.Drafts
INBOX.Trash
INBOX.Sent

It’s just not real clear what LDAP sub/folders have to be created in
order for SOGO to work. As far as I can tell, SOGO is building these
directories automatically. If I add folders I can see them in the
interface. I’m at a loss. I think I may grab the code and see what’s
up. Is the code available for the 2.0 stuff?

As I said before that's IMAP not LDAP.

You can create these INBOX subfolders within SOGo.
Then select them and give each of them the correct function.
You have to select the folder, e.g. Drafts, then right click on it and
choose Use This Folder For -- Drafts.
After this the corresponding folder will show another icon, a pencil for
drafts.

Kind regards,

[SOGo] LDAP search broken

2011-12-14 Thread Emmanuel Dreyfus
Hello

It seems I cannot get LDAP authentication working, while it works for
the address book. When credentials should be validated by LDAP, it
always fail, and I have this in the logs:
2011-12-14 12:10:39.717 sogod[12062] -[NGLdapConnection
_searchAtBaseDN:qualifier:attributes:scope:]: search with at base àL»˜Kpº
filter àL»HD–ºK for attrs RK»€UcºI

It seems the LDAP parameters did not made their way to the function that
uses them. This is SOGO 2.0.0b3.

Yes, I've seen this frequently too ... But for me its only when bring
down new calendars. Still it takes about 5 mins before Thunderbird is
available again, after reading apaprox 1.5MB sqllite file which seems
quite slow

I'm in 3.108 and if you edit preference calendar id.cache.enabled,
you can define, for each calendar, if it is cached or not. But there's
no possibility for windowed cache.

For older version (cf attachement), this value was forced.

Hi,
To see if it resolves some problems, I've commented the line
directory.setProperty(cache.enabled, true); in the
chrome/content/calendar/folder-handler.js of the connector module. It's
working.
First, I tried to disable all calendars cache, but I saw that SOGo
connector module forces the property calendar id.cache.enabled
Could you explain why the cache is forced and wich problems I can
encounter with my modification ?

Thanks

There should be three lines in your Apache config file for SOGo that
alias this to the filesystem:

i.e. Alias /SOGo.woa/WebServerResources/ \
