Re: [SOGo] bindAsCurrentUser new background to my question
Le 12-05-22 17:38, Christian Rößner a écrit : Now my question: Does SOGo use part of the DN to create the SQL-databases or handle the session stuff? If so that would explain, why I still can use SOGo with some global admin LDAP user, but not with bindAsCurrentUser. And if so, is there a chance to rename the tables that this matches again? I know you did your own tests and reach your own conclusion, but I would like to provide a formal response to that... The short answer is: no, the DN does not matter at all. And the long answer is that when generating table names, the "sogo" prefix is taken as well as the 8 first characters (or less) from the value of UIDFieldName, a unique counter that increments at each creations and then the unix timestamp during which the operation occurs. Therefore, as long as all your users keep the same value of UIDFieldName, all their data will be kept intact. This is why, on the other hand, a multi-domain configuration must ensure that all uid are unique, even between domains. Wolfgang -- users@sogo.nu https://inverse.ca/sogo/lists
[SOGo] SOGo usage without LDAP
Hi, I have successfully installed SOGo on an Ubuntu Server with SQL authentification. Login to web interface is also working. Email notifications are working, too (e.g. "New Address Book" notification). Now I am wondering how to proceed in order to - connect my email mailbox zu SOGo (I can't change my email settings over the web-frontend, the settings are grayed out) - to set up calenders and share them with colleagues - to set up address books and share them with colleagues. Is all this possible without having LDAP installed? Regards M -- users@sogo.nu https://inverse.ca/sogo/lists
Re: [SOGo] SOGo doesn't display email anymore
Thanks for this information. I have checked may sogo config file and everything seems to be ok. Some strange thing : when I downgrade Sogo to version 1.3.14 my mails come back and everything works like usual. Maybe the solution is to deal with a sogo 1.3.14 . :) James 2012/5/23 Christian Rößner > Hi, > > > Ok. I will try that. > > I had a similar problem. But not SOGo-version related. Hi, > Ok. I will try that. I had a similar problem. But not SOGo-version related. I activated the ChangePassword feature in SOGo and tested it. After this, I had the exact same situation on my machine. Calendars were still working, but mail disappeared. Checking the userPassword field in LDAP, I saw that the password was written in clear text and not SSHA. So all my mail services quit working with that password scheme. Are you using some kind of encrypted passwords and did you use the SOGo option I talked about? -Christian Rößner --- Roessner-Network-Solutions Bachelor of Science Informatik Nahrungsberg 81, 35390 Gießen F: +49 641 5879091, M: +49 176 93118939 USt-IdNr.: DE225643613 http://www.roessner-network-solutions.com smime.p7s Description: S/MIME cryptographic signature

Re: [SOGo] [SOLVED] SOGoCalendarDefaultRoles
Hi, > I can not change the "Vertraulich" (in English personal?) setting to none. > And I do not understand this. It is also SOGo nightly on Ubuntu; but 10.04 Same that depends on my former thread, depends on this as well. Re: [SOGo] [SOLVED] bindAsCurrentUser new background to my question
Hi, > ou=sogo,ou=it,dc=roessner,dc=de > > wher my user where named > > uid=croessner,ou=sogo,ou=it,dc=roessner,dc=de > uid=eroessner,ou=sogo,ou=it,dc=roessner,dc=de > > We started populating the server with addresses and calendar data, but after > some time I thought by myself that this subtree is duplicate data in my DIT, > as I also have similar objects in > > ou=people,ou=it,dc=roessner-net,dc=de moving a subtree destroyed SOGo. So today I made backups from all address books and calendars directly from the web interface. After that I stopped SOGo, deleted all databases in Postgres and started SOGo again. After importing all data, I watched the logs and now the "bindAsCurrentUser" problem is solved. Looking at the SQL table names, they have definitely changed. This also closes my bug report. Anyways, thanks for following this thread. I did not know that I can not rearrange the LDAP structure, when SOGo was already populated. -Christian Rößner --- Roessner-Network-Solutions Bachelor of Science Informatik Nahrungsberg 81, 35390 Gießen F: +49 641 5879091, M: +49 176 93118939 USt-IdNr.: DE225643613 http://www.roessner-network-solutions.com smime.p7s Description: S/MIME cryptographic signature

Currently we > use > > funambol-8.7.0-x64.tgz > funambol-sogo-1.0.8.s4j Excuse me please, what is the exact preferred way to exchange the s4j module? Do I simply place the new module into the /opt/Funambol/ds-server/modules path, removing the old one and editing the properties file and following the installation guide, as it was the first install procedure, or do I have to do this manually. And if so, how? -Christian Rößner --- Roessner-Network-Solutions Bachelor of Science Informatik Nahrungsberg 81, 35390 Gießen F: +49 641 5879091, M: +49 176 93118939 USt-IdNr.: DE225643613 http://www.roessner-network-solutions.com smime.p7s Description: S/MIME cryptographic signature
