[SOGo] Funambol Hypersonic->PostgreSQL

2012-06-14 Thread Christian Rößner
Hi,

does somebody know how to change the hypersonic database to PostgreSQL? I tried
following this guide:

https://wiki.ow2.org/sync4j/Wiki.jsp?page=HOWTOConfigureTheBundledVersionToUseMySQLOrPostgresql

but without success. The tables got all installed so far, by running the
install script, but after that I can not connect with the funamboladmin tool
anymore, because it tells me that the host is unreachable.

I have seen that the ZEG-image is built so and was interested in giving this a
try.

Thanks in advance

The apache rewrite is useless after the fix, but it doesn't harm.
I would remove it, to keep the config clean and apache faster.

[SOGo] Mid-term assistance request

2012-06-14 Thread Sean Deschamps
Hello everyone,

I would like to deploy SOGo for a very small group, but have little
computer science knowledge. Could someone please walk me through setting
up the ZEG virtual image?

I realize you're a group of working professionals and so the small amount
I'm able to pay is not likely anything to you, but I'd really appreciate if
someone would be willing to help me out for something like $20/hour,
assuming that it will only take a few hours.

Thanks!

[SOGo] Time shift issues

2012-06-14 Thread Member Horvath
Hi,

I am having issue whereby when an invite is confirmed, the event shows and
hour later than it was intended to.
I have tested this on the same Mac using both ical and thunderbird as well
as on an iphone and only when accepting visa iCal does this occur.
I am currently running
Debian squeeze:
SOGo 1.3.12c

I'm aware that the latest version is now 1.3.16.
However Due to a previous issue where the same issue was happening to
subscribed calendars a temp fix was put in place by adding a url rewrite to
the apache.conf.
If the fix is applied, does this need to be reverted?

[SOGo] Outlook Connector in latest ZEG not working

2012-06-14 Thread Thorsten Meinl
Hi,

We just downloaded the latest ZEG appliance in order to test the outlook
connector. However, we cannot get it to work. The reasons seems to be
that openchange is not running in the VM. If you try to start it by hand
the error "KeyError 'cache_dir'" along with some python stack traces
appears in the ocsmanager.log and the ocsmanager does not start. We
haven't changed anything in the configuration so this is probably an
error in the image?

Cheers,

Thorsten

In order to create address lists, click on the submenu point "New List"
(2 address cards with a green plus sign).

This will open the address list edit window.
At the bottom of this window you find a big plus sign. Press it in order
to add an address to the list.

Be aware that you only can add addresses from the same address book.

Re: [SOGo] using https:// isiUpdateURL in sogo-integrator works, but http:// only breaks ldap search function

2012-06-14 Thread Patrice Matthias Brend'amour
We had to add it to get it working, but we started with a clean TB so there was
no security exception in place.
I'm not sure, whether adding the certificate will help in your case. It's still
one thing you could try, though.

To add it, you have to go to Settings->Advanced->Certificates and then import
it (we actually added our root certificate as trusted certificate authority).

To my knowledge thunderbird from version 10 on needs a trusted signed
source for update addons unless you disable this. I wrote this once down
(somewhere in the archive). If I recall right I had to set

force_bool_pref("extensions.install.requireBuiltInCerts", false);
force_bool_pref("extensions.update.requireBuiltInCerts", false);

to get TBs update working again.

Hello.

I am still wondereing if outlook can somehow use sogo 1.3.*.  I know I can add an imap account but than I do not have  contacts and a calendar that I can sync. Some one suggested sogosync but that is activesync and ment for mobile devices and not for outlook. (I might be wrong here). My sogo server is online in a datacenter so a lan mapi connection is not possible. (I do not want to use vpn).

[SOGo] Address lists not properly visualized in Web frontend

Hi list,

via the SOGo thunderbird CardDAV extension I created an address list
like this:

This works for thunderbird, I can use this list without problems.

In SOGo 2.0 nightly webinterface there is no list visible, but
  empty address entries:

Maybe the web interface does not support address lists at the
moment? I can't find an option to create such lists via the web
frontend.

Kind regards,

If so, you need to add your certificate (or the CA, if you created one) to
Thunderbird's certificate store first. Otherwise, the integrator won't be able
to connect to the update server.

Hi,

yes there's an self-signed cert.

I thought its already added, because on first connect to SOGo
thunderbird asks me what to do with the untrusted cert. i saved the
security exception rule.

do i need to explicitly add it to thunderbirds cert storage?

if so where would be the best place to add it?

[SOGo] Apple iCal vs. serverside changed events

2012-06-14 Thread Thomas Paduch
Hi list,

if the organisor of an event is using Apple iCal and invites an ressource wich
will
autoaccept or an group which will autoexpand to their members at the server side
the organisor iCal did not notice the change.

I think the iCal change / write the event to the server

PUT /SOGo/dav/pad/Calendar/personal/4CA9F27D-F9C3-489B-978E-629AA3AE41CC.ics
HTTP/1.1
Host: sogo-test.kochan.de:8443
User-Agent: DAVKit/4.0.3 (732.2); CalendarStore/4.0.4 (997.7); iCal/4.0.4
(1395.7); Mac OS X/10.6.8 (10K549)
Authorization: Basic cGFkOlBQZXk5OCEh
If-Match: "gcs"
Content-Type: text/calendar

and got the new etag

HTTP/1.1 204 No Content
content-length: 0
etag: "gcs0001"
content-type: text/plain

without asking for any additional change at the server side. If the meeting is
changed
again (for instance one attende accept the meeting) ... the organisor iCal get
noticed
about all those changes.

in case of an serverside change ... is it possible to make any kind of "touch"
for the
organiser calender after he got his "new" etag (so etag and timstamp will
increment again)?

Best Regards,
  Thomas
