Re: [SOGo] Max. number of Managesieve connections in SOGo Webclient?

2012-08-07 Thread Ludovic Marcotte

On 05/08/12 17:23, Patrick Ben Koetter wrote:

I ran into a manage sieve client limit on a Dovecot server today. By default
Dovecot allows a maximum of 10 concurrent managesieve connections from a
client.

Client being Sieve client or user?

How does that relate to SOGo's webmail client? How many concurrent connections
will it open to a manage sieve server? Will the number increase e.g. if there
are many rules to send?
SOGo will open one connection per child sogod process, if needed. If you
had 10 users modifying their script at the same time (ie., saving the
preferences) and > 10 sogod processes running, that could happen.

[SOGo] Thunderbird Reminder Issue

2012-08-07 Thread support
SOGo Server:
CentOS 6
Sogo 1.3.17
Thunderbird 10.x
Lightning 1.2.3
SOGo Connector 10.0.3
SOGo Integrator 10.0.3
PostgreSQL 8.4.12

LDAP Server:
CentOS 6
OpenLDAP

I am running into an issue lately with Thunderbird. I don't know how long this
has been going on. This problem may have existed on previous versions of SOGo
or the Thunderbird extensions, but I didn't notice it until recently.

The problem occurs when a person (#1) is subscribed to another person's (#2)
calendar (view only). If person #2 has current alarms set for events, these
alarms will show up as reminders on person #1's Thunderbird. When person #1
attempts to dismiss these alarms he/she gets the following error:
"An error occurred when writing to the calendar Bob Smith!"
Error Code: MODIFICATION_FAILED
Description:
Status Code: 403, The user lacks the required permission to perform the
request.

http://www.w3.org/1999/xhtml";>
An error occurred during object publishingtried to access
private object (0x0x25ca428, SoClass=SOGoAppointmentObject)

When person #1 attempts to set person #2's calendar to not show reminders, this
setting does not take effect. Upon restart of Thunderbird, the "Show
Reminders" box is once again checked. The only way to turn off the reminders
is to login to the SOGo web interface and uncheck the "Show Alarms" box for
that particular person's calendar.

This problem occurs on both Windows (XP and 7) and Linux (Ubuntu 10.04)
clients. Right now, using the web interface to disable alarms is a suitable
workaround. However, it would be nice to have this functionality working in
Thunderbird, as well. I don't know whether this is a SOGo (extension?) issue,
or a Thunderbird issue.

If anyone has some suggestions to solve this issue, I'm all ears!

Thanks!

Greg

[SOGo] auto-completion in lightning

2012-08-07 Thread Thoralf Schulze
hi there,

i just stumbled across the "… Lightning may only use one of SOGo's
address sources for auto completion"-part in
http://wiki.sogo.nu/ResourceConfiguration .
now i am wondering if this applies to the invitation of attendees to an
appointment as well- it appears that only entries from the personal
address book are looked up for auto completion in this case, contrary to
the web interface.

thunderbird is icedove 10.0.5-1~bpo60+1 from squeeze-backports
(mozilla.debian.net), lightning the latest 1.2.3 and sogo 2.0.0.20120726-1 .

thankful for any pointers,
thoralf.

[SOGo] MailFieldNames with different identities/names/cn

2012-08-07 Thread Hans Müller
Hello,

I currently test SOGo (1.3.17-1 / Ubuntu12.04).
Authentication is done with MySQL.

Is it possible to provide different email addresses with also different sender
names per user?

I already setup 'MailFieldNames' and this works so far - in the composing
window I can select between different entries within the 'From:' combobox.
The problem is they all use the same name (I think it's based on the c_cn
value) as sender name.

The online-demo of SOGo (http://sogo-demo.inverse.ca/SOGo/) shows that it's
possible to do what I want - unfortunately I'm not sure about how it's
implemented:
- Is it a feature of the unstable (2.0.0) version of sogo?
- Does it only work with LDAP usage/authentication?
- Is it kind/part of a delegation feature?
- Did I miss some configuration parm?

The roadmap says something about
'Email identities support in the web mail interface'
is this related to the above problem?

http://www.sogo.nu/bugs/view.php?id=1158
seems to address this problem - unfortunately there's no reply so far.

Thanks a lot & Best regards
Hans

Have you plans to do that OpenChange/SOGo's OpenChange backend works with
multiplee domains?

samba-tool domain passwordsettings set --min-pwd-length=1

samba-tool user setexpiry user --noexpiry
openchange_newuser --create user

How to configure that I can connect to Outlook with multiple domains?
Some code changes will likely be required for this to work in
OpenChange/SOGo's OpenChange backend.

Out of curiosity, how did you create your two domains in Samba 4?

[SOGo] Fwd: Login to SOGo from external- old,new question

Dear all, this is my X...attempt to configure SOGo--> Apache to be reached
when I am outside the office.

This Is my Apache alias-file in conf.d,

Alias /SOGo/WebServerResources/ \
  /usr/lib/GNUstep/SOGo/WebServerResources/
AliasMatch /SOGo/so/ControlPanel/Products/(.*)/Resources/(.*) \
   /usr/lib/GNUstep/SOGo/$1.SOGo/Resources/$2

## Uncomment the following to enable proxy-side authentication, you will then

# When using CAS, you should uncomment this and install cas-proxy-validate.py

Now I tried to create a new alias file EX.: outside.conf
My router redirect all my https to the SOGo host, 217.XXX.XXX.XXX

changed this lines to:

ProxyPass /SOGo http://127.0.0.1:2/SOGo retry=0

http://127.0.0.1:2/SOGo>
## adjust the following to your configuration
  RequestHeader set "x-webobjects-server-port" "443"
  RequestHeader set "x-webobjects-server-name" "217.XXX.XXX.XXX"
  RequestHeader set "x-webobjects-server-url" "https://217.XXX.XXX.XXX";

restarted httpd service.
Now I can reach the web-gui with https://217.XXX.XXX.XXX/SOGo successfull.
But when I login it ends up with my local IP-Adress:
https://192.XXX.XXX.124/SOGo/so/myuser/
and that is wrong, and the browser shows up page not found.
How can I get here: https://217.XXX.XXX.XXX/SOGo/so/tester/ ?

Daniel
